Beautiful Private cottage set on 1 acre of land. Located on its own lake with a sandy Beach. Great for swimming. Shallow water perfect for family's with small children. Cottage consists of an open concept, very clean, bright, hard wood flooring throughout with wood stove, kitchen, family room, deck over looking the lake, fire pit, dock, fishing and water activities. Cottage has 2 bedrooms and there is a private bunkie which sleeps an additional 2 adults and 1 child. Cottage can accommodate no more than 8 people in total . In the winter there is ice fishing, near by skiing, skating, and tobogganing. Winter Rentals Available....SNOWMOBILE TRAILS on site." For additional photos please inquire. | Our family had a nice stay at the Great Family Get Away on Roberts Lake. The waterfront was great for our needs as we had babies and toddlers with us and there is beach access. The location is convenient as it is right off the highway but renters should know that it is on the flight path of the Parry Sound airport so planes fly by regularly. The cottage has potential to be amazing however it was dirty. We had to clean the cottage before we could use it (ie. the dishes, the microwave and stove seemed to have never been cleaned, a small fan had inches of dust in it, and the cottage seemed to have been neglected.). A few other concerns we had were that things were missing such as the coffee maker, there was only one tiny fan for 6 people during a heat wave, the property had old junk lying around, and the doors did not close properly so mosquitos could get in. A major complaint was that only hot water came out of all the taps which made dishwashing challenging and showering not an option - this is unacceptable. The host was fairly easy to communicate with before our arrival however she was more difficult to get a hold of while we were there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay due to excellent weather and a great waterfront. The property has a ton of potential - if it were better taken care of it would be awesome.

Owner response: Thank you for your response. Upon arrival it is requested you contact the owner should you not find the cottage clean. It is the responsibility of renters to ensure it is left the way it was found. It is very difficult to find cleaning services in cottage country. The cottage is fully equipped and there is a coffee maker it was not located by the clients . We are not obligated to provide fans however there is one fan available to renters. There was a problem with the water however we unfortunately were not notified the next renter notified us and the issue was addressed immediately. We do our best to ensure all renters enjoy there stay at Great Family Get Away. It is best to address any issues while at the cottage not after. | |

| Has all you need to have a great time! Well kept property. Great fire pit and dock with sandy beach for kids. Nice big deck to eat outside and enjoy nature. Extra cabin very handy for folks who want to sleep in when the kids get up too early! Satellite TV, stereo and lots of DVDs. Had a wonderful time here.
