We invite you to stay a week or two at our cottage. We have been renting our cottage to guests for over 18 years now and invite you to enjoy a holiday in beautiful Okanagan Valley. Our cottage is fully equipped for your stay (Please see details for information about the cottage and what you need to bring).

Check-in Saturday 3:30pm to Saturday 11:00am

Balance due 4 weeks prior to occupancy date. Payment by E-Transfer or cheque (a mailing address will be provided by email during the booking process). The cottage is located in Westshore Estates off Westside Road on Lake Okanagan. The cottage is modern and furnished. We employ professional maid service after each visit.
Online tourist information is available for vacation activities for Greater Okanagan including Vernon, Kelowna and surrounding wine region.
Summer weather is warm and sunny and we have air conditioning.
The cottage is surrounded by spruce/fir/pine forest on a quiet culdesac and child-safe and friendly. There are hiking and off-road trails accessible minutes from the cottage. The deck is sunny all day and a 270 degree view of Vernon to Kelowna.
Nights are dark - no street lights to obscure the sky - enjoy the Milky Way. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful and safe.
Nearby cities of Kelowna and Vernon have all amenities including shopping and restaurants. Kelowna is 60 minutes (75km) drive and has the park by the bridge, sandy beaches, boardwalks, bird sanctuary, numerous indoor/outdoor restaurants and beer gardens, large grassy areas and lots of activities. The park is right on the edge of town for dinner in the evening. Vernon is smaller and has similar amenities and 25 minutes drive. Vernon has a great beach on the lake perfect for swimming and picnics, boat rentals, etc. Peachland is just south of Kelowna and right on the lake. Beautiful for walking. Just outside Kelowna is a kangaroo petting zoo, great for the kids and they can actually hold a baby kangaroo in their lap. Predator Ridge Resort is just outside Vernon with restaurants and great for lunch or dinner plus nice walking paths and can be seen across the lake from the cottage.

Just wanted to touch base and thank you for the lovely cottage. The place was beautiful and the cottage was amazing. We could have spent days at end and just not return to city. The view was wonderful, and the patio was the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning.
The bedrooms were nice, large and comfortable. The kids loved the lower level living room/flex space for their card games.
The cottage was very clean and all the amenities were in place. We loved the beautiful pictures that you have up on the walls in your cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed.
Overall, a wonderful experience and would love to come back to spend more days.

I just got back to work today and I was going to send you an email. We had an absolutely AMAZING time, we enjoyed everything!!! It was an absolutely perfect vacation and the cottage/house was absolutely wonderful. We BBQ daily and completely enjoyed sitting on the deck soaking up the scenery and trying to keep our eyes out for the wild life. Our favourite visitors was a mother deer with her two baby fawns - it was just absolutely delightful to see them in the morning.
... we were just blown away with how wonderful it was, we could not have asked for a better location.
A special thank you to you for all your information and help. It was very appreciated and helped us all enjoy our vacation even more. My parents, who RARELY leave NS, are even excited to come back out West again soon.

| Excellent family gateway!
We have stayed here for a week in August 2020 and it's been our second consecutive year so far. We are so pleased that we'll book in advance for next year.
This is just the right place to spend a quiet week with your family, remote but also close to Vernon for groceries or restaurants.
We appreciated the remoteness of this place, amazing nature and wildlife (we saw deer and squirrels every day during our stay).
We bought groceries for a week when we arrived and did not have to drive to Vernon.
Instead, we drove to the beach every day, either Kal beach or Skaha Lake beach are excellent choices.
Cottage is equipped with everything you need and spotless clean.
Views to the Okanagan Lake are breathtaking and Monika's cottage benefits of a 180 degrees view to the lake, capturing splendid views of both Kelowna and Vernon by night. The night sky is amazing and does not disappoint here, and there were nights with full moon that was amazingly sparkling over the lake! Almost surreal experience!
We can't wait for our next family gateway at Monika and Al's cottage!

| Wonderful stay in August 2020 at this very peaceful location with beautiful, elevated views and easy access to and only a short drive away from several quiet beaches. The cottage is fully equipped for your stay, is a great size and perfectly clean and updated. It's an easy drive around to Vernon and there is a convenience store about 10 minutes' drive away if you've forgotten something. Otherwise this is the perfect "getting away from it all" spot to relax and unwind on the unspoiled west shore of the lake.

| I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cottage. The place is so comfortable, very clean and located
on the quiet street. This cottage has all what anyone would need to feel ?home away from home?.
The views from the balcony is just spectacular , overlooking the lake. There is also close nice beach.
