A beautiful family cottage located in a quiet and tranquil region of west Quebec. Just outside the fully bilingual village of Otter Lake, Quebec. RENTAL DETAILS / CHECK CALENDAR AND RATES (COVID requirements)
Maximum capacity: EIGHT. MAX: 4 adults (FIRM)
With a maximum capacity of 2 families. (FIRM)
WEEKEND RENTALS: ONLY BEFORE AND AFTER SUMMER.
SUMMER RENTALS: Saturday to Saturday (FIRM)
PETS: None. Sorry, but we must respect the needs of all of our renters. (FIRM)
SMOKING: Not permitted.
Water is from a well and not a lake. It is tested in late June by a laboratory in Gatineau to confirm that it is safe to drink.
OUTSIDE FEATURES AND DETAILS
Good Fishing: Excellent for children, as they can fish right off the dock.
Lakefront: Shallow and gradual sand based entry. Floating dock and swim raft.
Privacy: Very good. Quiet road and quiet lake with trees between cottages which are not side by side.
Decks/Balconies: 4 - Many locations to sit and enjoy the quiet. Chairs provided.
Boat Launch: None available

Payment: Post-dated cheques but we encourage electronic via Internet banking or PayPal.

COTTAGE RULES
Visitors/Guests Allowed: Must be identified in rental agreement by start of rental period. Maximum capacity must be respected at all times.
Children: Children must be supervised at all times by an adult and wear a life jacket while playing at the water.

NOTES 50% deposit required at time of confirmation (cheque, money order, or electronic transfer). We prefer e-transfers. The balance and deposit is due as follows: July Rentals: Balance and deposit is due June 15th August Rentals: Balance and deposit is due July 15th Security deposit for damage / cleanliness of $ 500. This deposit will be refunded after two weeks. A firm rule. A minimum charge of $ 200 will be given if the place is not clean upon departure.
