Available year-round, bright and sunny, spring-fed Lake McColgan offers guests tranquility in a secluded, natural setting. - The one acre property has approximately 255' of waterfront, including a flat sandy beach area and a shallow wading area that is great for children. The slope to the shore is very gradual. The lake is clean and ideal for swimming. (No motor boats are permitted.) - The dock provides a place to lay in the sun, swim and enjoy the company of family and friends. - Guests have access to a BBQ, a 4-seat paddle boat, a kayak and a large supply of life jackets are available. - Enjoy stunning views of the lake and mountains while enjoying your morning coffee on the oversized deck. Glass railings provide un-spoiled vistas. - Adults can relax on the deck while kids play safely in the water. - Love eating outside? Enjoy the sunset while dining outside on the large outdoor table. - The property offers a large grassy area providing lots of room for children to play. - Roast marshmallows at the large outdoor fire pit under the stars. Firewood is provided. - Cottage offers beautiful views of the lake from the sunroom. - There are two bedrooms. 1 has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin bunk beds. The couch in the sunroom becomes a double bed. (Max 4 adults per booking). Linens provided. - Cottage includes all modern amenities including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, full-sized tub/ shower, full-sized fridge, electric stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, towels, etc.
- Hike or mountain bike in the forest minutes from your door.
- High-speed fibre optic Wifi from Bell is provided. Cell phone service is available using wifi. There is a land line; long distance charges are extra.
- Tap water is great for cooking, showering, and brushing your teeth but for drinking, most guests prefer to bring their own water.

Cottage is well equipped and comfortable ( we have 4 adults , 2 kids and a dog and had lots of space)
Rosanne was quick with her responses and provided us some good information for a local ice cream place etc. ( just an FYI your closest grocery store is about 40 minutes away so I suggest coming prepared with what you need for the week)
We were also pleasantly surprised to be visited by the neighbour pooch!!

| This cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay: easy access to the lake, beautifully clear lake water with sandy bottom, a delightful dock big enough to have guests sit in the Muskoka chairs provided and enjoy the proximity of the lake; a very large grassy yard where kids can play or dogs can run; a lovely modern deck and outdoor dining furniture with umbrella that invites one to eat outside and enjoy the lake view; a lovely dining area indoors with many windows once again allowing one to enjoy the lake view. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is very well equipped, supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels are plentiful as are cleaning products, towels and extra bedding. The only thing that could make the experience better would be to have paved roads leading to the cottage instead of dirt/gravel roads but that is beyond the control of the owner. All in all, we enjoyed our week at the cottage and would recommend it highly.

| Chalet chaleureux, confortable, très propre, avec belle grande terrasse et superbe vue sur le lac. Endroit paisible, grand terrain avec petite plage sablonneuse, pente douce, idéale pour les enfants qui ne se lassent pas de nager, pêcher et d'attraper des grenouilles. L'eau du lac est claire et propre. Baignades, balades en pédalo et canot très agréables.
The cottage is very well maintained and organized, with stunning lake views from the sunroom including living/dining rooms. It is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee machines, full size washer and dryer, bed linens, towels, cleaning supplies and soap, dvd/vcr, videos, games, wifi, bbq.
Easy booking process and pleasant communications with the owner. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Rosanne!
