Our cottage is currently under construction, ready for summer 2022!! Foote Lake beach cottage is ideal for families with children of any age; young children will especially enjoy the lovely beach area with gradual entry while older children will enjoy the dock, swimming and fishing. Foote Lake is a very private and tranquil, lots of hiking and exploring just outside your doorstep, 15 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park! We have 4 adult and 2 children's kayaks for hours of entertainment. This cozy wood lined private cottage has 3 bedrooms and will sleep 8 comfortably, bathroom with tub and shower, dining room seating for 6, well-equipped kitchen, satellite TV, DVD player, large deck area (with Weber grill) and dock. There are great views of the lake from the kitchen, dining and living rooms. Enjoy casual evenings in the screened in Muskoka room outfitted with a large outdoor sectional sofa and dining table for 8. The deck area has an outdoor dining table; which overlooks the bonfire pit and beach, with lovely west exposure. We are only 10km to the local Foodland and LCBO at Novar and only 18 minutes to downtown Huntsville for additional shopping and entertainment. Foote Lake Beach Cottage is proud to offer 4 adult kayaks, 2 children's kayaks as well as a stand up paddle board for guest use. The cottage is clean and beautiful. The outdoor area is perfect. And the hosts/honours are kind, professional, respectful and wonderful. Highly recommend.

| Everything important about this place has already been stated. It is quaint without being rustic. It is fully equipped for anything you need in the kitchen. Paddle boards and kayaks. Lovely spot for camp fires. The adirondack chairs are of ridiculous quality. The view is beautiful whether you're on the giant back deck with the beautiful BBQ or down at the end of the dock enjoying the sunshine. The screened in room is giant And prefect for a night of cards without the mosquitoes. It is clean. Satellite TV if you strangely need to watch television.
20 minutes to Huntsville bit who really needs to go there unless your need a little regular civilization (lovely town, apparently I did!). The supermarket is a 7 minute drive through some beautiful roads (drive slow!). It is, perhaps a little more expensive than home but it is a real supermarket with an lcbo. If you want to save a could bucks being your own food and drinks).
Robyn is a dream to work with and is very familiar with the area. Ask what you need and she'll have the answer.
Came recommend this place enough. Entirely worth the price of admission.

| Beautiful cottage, stocked with everything you might need.
Very cozy and roomy, felt instantly at home.
The view is spectacular especially at this time with fall colours!
We didn't want to leave, wished we had another week there.

We've been to many cottages over the years and this is our favourite, hope to come back next fall.

| This is an incredible cottage! Highly recommended by myself and our guests.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 8 nights and it exceeded all of our expectations. Robyn was an excellent host, she was very prompt to respond during my planning days. She was very flexible with me as I was finalizing our vacation time.
The cottage is FULLY stocked inside with more than enough plates, cups, cutlery, paper towel, toilet paper etc. We brought our own sheets and towels due to COVID-19 but other than that we definitely did NOT need to bring as much stuff as we did. When packing, keep that in mind! This cottage has everything you need.
Never a dull moment or boring day, outside there were SO many things to do; kayak, paddle board, ping pong and swimming. The water was so clean and clear, I loved how shallow the water was, it warmed up quite nice in the sun. The sandy shoreline made us feel like we were on holiday, there was a blender too for cocktails :) Fire pit was huge and placed for star gazing!
Robyn was honest about the bugs around that time of year but they weren't as bad as I expected. Plus there is an amazing screened in room for nights when you're not having a fire, with a table and outdoor furniture.
The local shop has everything you need in case you forget anything, the bakery had a lot of amazing treats. There was also an "honour system" fire log stand nearby that was great for inexpensive wood.
We will absolutely be back in the future, THANK YOU!

It's fully stocked both inside and out. Which we really appreciated.
The cottage is exactly how it was described.
The screened in porch was the perfect spot for being outdoors when the bugs were a bit pesky :) We spent so much time there.
We will definitely be back!
