Beautiful 4BR, 2BA, with hot tub and sauna, lake front, great for families, and couples!

This immaculate architect-designed home on beautiful Grand Lake in Quebec's Gatineau Hills, only 40 minutes from Ottawa, is the perfect 4-season getaway. Offering 4 bedrooms, a hot tub, sauna, and expansive deck with lake view, this home creates the perfect environment to truly kick back and relax. Amenities also include: internet, Wi Fi, entertainment system, washer and dryer. Visit our website at www.grandlakecottagerental.weebly.com for our All-Inclusive Weekend packages which include massages, pedicures, facials, manicures and a personal chef!

Wake up to a magnificent sunrise over the morning mists of Grand Lake and a view of the colourful fall leaves and evergreens that frame the lake, or in winter, the fresh fall of sparkling snow under a deep blue sky, with a day of activities or just relaxing ahead. Perhaps you'll just take a walk, hike or cross-country ski from the door, or head for the nearby cross country ski trails or downhill slopes. If staying closer to home is more to your liking, you could take a soak in the hot tub overlooking the lake, relax in the sauna, before curling up by the wood stove or fireplace with a good book and a mug of tea. As evening comes, cook up a storm on the barbecue before heading for a good night's sleep snuggled up under the goose down duvet.

Nestled in a postcard-perfect setting, Grand Lake is one of the most sought after areas in the region for good reason. It is a large lake with clean water that connects with Dam Lake, an adjacent lake with water access. The cottage is located near the village of Perkins which has a grocery store, butcher, hardware store, movie rental store, pharmacy and restaurant/bar only 8 km away. It is close to local golf courses, horseback riding, Lafleche caves and an aerial park. It is also on the doorstep of the National Capital's premier cross-country ski trail (Nakkertok), and 15 minutes from 2 popular ski hills (Mont Cascades and Edelweiss); as well as the famous village of Wakefield with its infamous friendly, funky atmosphere, shops, and fine food.

We've rented many cottages throughout the years and this, by far, is the best one! Location, view and structure makes it feel like home. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and she loved it! It was blistering cold out so we spent most of the days inside, but because of the layout of the cottage it never felt like we were cooped up. The owners were so good to us and easy to deal with. We highly recommend this cottage for a small or large group, any age. We are hoping to get back out there again soon!

This is our 3rd visit to this wonderful piece of paradise and will not be the last the owner has created something very special (I don't want too many peeps finding out about it LOL) we visited once in the Fall and this is our 2nd time in the winter.... such a unique and very tastefully built property I have to say if a renter does not enjoy this hidden oasis they only have themselves to blame ..it just oozes relaxation and rejuvenation........ Robin thank you again for sharing your cottage .As Arnold says "I'll be back"

We rented the cottage for a family weekend and truly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was awesome with everything you need for a getaway. The hot-tub & sauna were a wonderful addition. Main roads were well kept. If you rent in the winter be aware of possible icy driveway. The owner is very friendly, easy to reach and helpful. I definitely recommend.

Excellent cottage in Val-des-monts. The roads were plowed and salted and you can tell the community is great in this area. The cottage over-all was very modernized yet still holds that old cabinish feel. Seems as if 8 people could stay here comfortably and a tea house with more rooms and showers look to be on the way. A perfect winter escape for a couple or even a larger group as there is plenty to hike and see, saunas, and a hottub. Had an amazing time in the winter, and assume it would be equally as enjoyable in the summer. The owner was very helpful and quick to reply if ever you needed any assistance.
(WIFI is strong in case anyone was wondering, never went out).

A fantastic experience from beginning to end! I was looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and this was the perfect place. Robin responds to inquiries very quickly and is a pleasure to deal with. The property has stunning views of the lake from almost every angle, and the hot tub, sauna and fireplaces make this a very modern, cozy place to stay. Poor yourself a glass of wine, put your feet up, relax and enjoy the view. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Robin for an excellent stay!
