Technology and nature. All of the comforts of home. This four season, waterfront cottage/ home is the perfect choice for a beautiful and peaceful weekly family vacation. Situated 1.5 hours from downtown Ottawa, in the heart of nature. Includes Bell Fibe 1.5G High Speed Unlimited Internet.
The cottage features an open concept main floor; loft master bedroom with queen size bed and daybed with trundle (2 single beds); 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with king size bed and one with queen size bed; 2 full baths and a walk-out lower level. Includes TV, telephone (free long distance calls), DVD, air conditioning, dishwasher, washer/dryer, large deck with BBQ, wood burning stove, pool table/table tennis dart board, movies and games. Outdoor equipment includes the use of a floating swimming dock, two paddleboards, two kayaks, a paddleboat, a canoe and lifejackets.
The cottage is situated on a small, quiet, clean lake. The land slopes towards the lake and you can simply walk in to go for a swim. The entrance to the lake is shallow for approximately four feet out. (There is no beach area, dock or boat launch.)
It's the perfect location to enjoy a private family vacation in the heart of nature.
Note: SUMMER RENTALS are from Sundays to Saturdays only (6 nights).

| Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at Carole and Steven's beautiful cottage on peaceful and quaint Lac Poirier. Amenities were cozy, modern and clean. From jumping off the floating dock, enjoying early morning kayak rides, smores at the fire pit, yummy BBQ dinners and late night ping pong competitions, we had all that we needed for an awesome summer getaway! The owners were easy and pleasant to communicate with, with prompt replies and very helpful checklists. Thank you! We hope to be back next summer.

| We had a great time at this cottage. The lake is lovely and the cottage is bright, clean, and open. We really appreciated all the activities to do in the cottage - DVDs, ping pong, pool, games, puzzles - when the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and there was lots of space to spread out. It was also really nice to have the canoe and paddle boat and kayaks to go for boat rides. We would definitely return and recommend it to others. Thanks again so much.

| Everything you need for a great holiday is here. Fully equipped and very quiet lake. Kids spent everyday enjoying the lake, boats and nature and every night enjoying the pool table and fire. The cottage really bro ha family closer together with all the activities it has to offer. Very open cottage, great lighting and very clean. I loved their outdoor umbrella so much...I bought a replica. Tons of room for our Great Pyrenees. We fell in love with this little oasis and would definetly return. Thank you so much for sharing your home!!

| We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It is well equipped with everything you might need and more! Perfect cottage for people of all ages as there are tons of things to do. There is a great selection of board games and DVD's for those not-so-sunny days.
Carole and Steve were great and very accommodating and available for any questions before or during our stay.
We would love to stay here again!

| This cottage is a gem. Modern, clean, with all the amenities you could want (including a pool table and ping pong!). There are loads of games in the cottage for all ages, the kayaks are great, it is both very dog and toddler friendly, and it's extremely private and quiet. The loft allows you to wake up and get an immediate view of the lake (or the expectant face of a toddler or dog, depending on your family situation!).
