| Our stay at 'On Island Time' was everything you would expect from a relaxing week at a lakefront cottage. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ, movies, board games and a wonderful outdoor deck with dining table and muskoka chairs to enjoy the lake view. The upper deck was comfortable throughout the day and we dined outside every night (except when we had a rainstorm). Best thing was the outdoor shower which provided warm water and the relaxing sounds of nature! We also made use of the kayaks and SUP and used the dock for our own boat. The owners were great at communicating with us with any questions we had. Close to Mactier for supplies and a short drive from Port Carling for some local shopping.

| We had a great week at this unique cottage! Was VERY happy with the cleanliness upon our arrival. The owners were very nice people, and very thoughtful, and it's evident they really care about their cottage. Directions were easy to get there; the instructions on cottage usage were easy to understand. The fishing was good; although we caught a large amount of fish (small and largemouth bass, pike), they were not of eating size. We were marking fish EVERYWHERE so the lake is very plentiful. We also caught some off the dock. Water pressure is not the greatest, but we're at a lake so we don't expect what we get at home. Trips into town were easy. The public dock allows you to park your boat and leave for hours; one thing to keep in mind is to take any valuables out of your boat just in case when you leave it at any public dock. Wood can be purchased at the marina for $7.00 a bag which is kind of pricey. (we didn't find any location in MacTier that sells firewood). Overall this was a great get-away right from the first night. I've stayed in many rental cottages but this one was the cleanest, which is the most important thing to me.
