| The location of this cottage is perfect, quiet and secluded only 15 minutes from the town of Digby that has many places to eat. The cottage has everything you need. Just need to bring your food. The beds are comfy, lots of extra bedding and pillows. We had 7 Adults during our stay and the sleeping arrangements were perfect and lots of room to give everyone their own space. Swimming was great, kayaks and paddle boat were a perfect addition and the large back yard for fire pit with lots of seating was fantastic. Air conditioning was really nice to have. Wifi worked great. Many decks, front and back, top floor middle floor for many different views. It was absolutely beautiful. We would book again and highly recommend.

| This was our second stay at Hemlock Cottage. Once again we were not disappointed. The first few days the weather wasn't great but with the cottage being such a good size we were able to have indoor fun and at no time feel crowded. The cottage has everything you would need. One nice feature is a second fridge. Having a large number of people and everyone bring food and drinks it came in handy. The Lake is a good size and good for Bass fishing. Our great-granddaughter caught her first fish( 5Yr. old). Overall we had a awesome time once again. Maurina is a excellent host. We look forward to spend another family reunion there.

| Our family of seven adults stayed at Maurina's cottage for a week this summer. Everyone agreed, it was an excellent location. It is best described as, imagine if your family had a summer cabin on the lake that you returned to year after year. Very tranquil, no partiers around. The lake was both peaceful and wonderful; we kayaked often using the ones provided. I'm not sure I'd swim in the lake (you probably could, just there was a few more rocks than sand in the water on the ground). The wildlife was amazing, with lots (and lots) of hummingbirds who would fly up within two feet of you to feed. Saw ducks, and other birds too. Maurina was awesome to deal with, extremely prompt with responses. Internet was great, but cell phones were spotty (no reception bars, and texts were 50-50). We didn't mind that, but FYI. Appliances are dated but work well; it's part of the "family cabin" charm! Digby is an easy 15 minute drive away (Walmart, etc). If you're looking for a place to get away from hectic city life, this is it. Everyone loved their stay, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.

| This is a lovely old house situated on a beautiful lake. Nine members of my family representing three generations stayed here for four nights. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and sitting around the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. There is a large barbecue available where we cooked on the nights we didn't go into Digby to a restaurant. There are decks on two floors with delightful views of the lake. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. My only issue is that a little maintence is overdue. Some mattresses and pillows need to be replaced and the refrigerator definitely needs servicing. However, overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hemlock Cottage for anyone wanting a pleasant vacation at a lake.
