Looking for a quiet and secluded getaway? Welcome to our four season cottage! The cottage has four bedrooms (3 queens and 1 double), two full bathrooms, open concept kitchen and living space, recreation room, laundry room, two decks and a gorgeous view of the lake. The entire cottage was fully renovated in the fall of 2015 and includes new windows, floors, new bathrooms, new kitchen and appliances, a beautiful wood burning stove and so much more. A new water filtration system was also installed and includes a UV filter. New in 2020 is a screened in porch and satellite internet! The cottage is ideal for families or working professionals who want to get away from it all. The property is a full acre and is bordered on the left side by untouched government lands. The cottage sits on Heney Lake and has almost 200 feet of private waterfront access tucked away on a quiet bay. Excellent swimming, fishing (Bass, Perch, Pike, Pickerel, Lake Trout), boating, and golfing. We have three kayaks (two for adults, one for children) and two canoes for water lovers. For explorers, there's a trail right near the cottage ideal for hiking, nature scavenger hunts, or just lazy strolls. | Amazing!! Our weekend was perfect. This cottage provides everything, you just have to relax and enjoy. The view on the lake is breathtaking, we had access to kayaking, and a canoe. The fire pit gives you a view out on the lake, you could hear the loon signing. So blessed to had the chance to experienced with my son, share the beautiful gift of nature.

| We spent the final week of our Canadian vacation at the beautiful cottage on Heney Lake and we couln't have enjoyed ourselves any better. It was just the perfect setting for a week of relaxation and some water action (swimming and canoing / kayaking on the lake). The cottage was supplied with everything we needed. The directions of how to get there and in as well as the whole transaction even from overseas was very uncomplicated with Rob and Bev. We would love to come back again.

| This cottage listing just can't fully describe how beautiful this location is. The lake and the view from the cottage is just incredible, whether you are eating on the deck off the kitchen, sitting on the deck by the dock, or relaxing in a muskoka chair on the deck off the living room. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. The beds and seating are new and comfortable. A few days were very hot, but the basement family room (and the 2 downstairs bedrooms) stayed beautifully cool, and there was a great breeze and fans for upstairs. There is really only one neighbour, and there was full privacy, a very relaxing place for a peaceful week. Internet was very reliable, cell service spotty (but fine for texts), cottage phone is always there for emergency. We loved having the use of the pelican kayaks, and paddling to the island across the lake was our kid's favourite part of the trip. We loved this cottage and would rent it again! Probably the only caution would be that it wouldn't be suitable for someone uncomfortable with stairs. It is perched above the lake, so there are quite a few.

| This was the perfect location for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The cottage is lovely and Rob and Bev were the perfect hosts. Communication was fast, friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The lake and the water are also pretty perfect - it's nice and shallow which makes for beautiful bathing temperatures. The water is extremely clean, but the bottom of the lake is muddy, so if you're squeamish, bring your water shoes. Otherwise, sit back on the dock, float in the lake, and canoe to your heart's content - this is the perfect place to do just that. We can't wait to go back.
