Welcome to Bay Lake Cottage Come and enjoy some time away at our wonderful rustic and beautiful cottage. This location and cabin will take you back to the years you enjoyed as a kid with your family. This relaxing cottage has been updated to provide you with many modern amenities for an entertaining vacation. You will not find many cottages that will give you and your family the seclusion and amazing large size lot that this property offers. It is located on pristine, spring-fed Bay Lake, just 20 minutes north of Huntsville in Muskoka. From the moment you turn down the long private drive way, you will realize the privacy that this cottage rental experience will provide you during your stay. This is the perfect location for you to bond with nature and the ones close to you through any number of the fun and relaxing activities available. Settle in and enjoy some great meals out on the deck, take an early morning kayak, paddleboard or canoe ride, go out fishing with the row boat, watch the kids play on the sandy shore while you relax in the hammock sipping a nice cool beverage, lounge in the sun porch for an afternoon nap, take advantage of the amazing sunset views from the second deck, and close out the days with a crackling campfire at our entertaining firepit. | My wife and I had an excellent time at this cottage. Our dog also enjoyed lazing around the cottage and the dock. We used the canoe a couple of times and enjoyed the scenery in this gorgeous lake. The entry to the water is nice and shallow. Very easy to get in and out. I caught a few fish right off the dock. We enjoyed using the beautiful fire pit area with nice accent lights hanging above it. My wife did some swimming, and we also went up to nearby Kearney to bike on the "Park to Park" trail. Other nearby towns with amenities are Novar (check out Hope's Grocery), and Emsdale (check out Yetti's Pizza). Huntsville is also close by. The cottage had plenty of games and books to entertain us on rainy or cold days. There was satellite TV as well if we just felt like relaxing on the couch. Overall we had an amazing experience and definitely plan to book this cottage again in the future. Thanks for everything, Steve!

| Cottage was very spacious and the waterfront quite beautiful. A great place to sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Grandkids enjoyed the water craft. Enjoyed fishing off the dock although no fish were caught! Enjoyed the updated washroom facility.

| It's a beautiful lakefront property and the road access is paved almost all the way. The water was nice and there was good swimming opportunities right off the dock. The cottage itself is nicely appointed with a lot of modern conveniences including satellite radio and good internet service. There is also a beautiful firepit area. The lake is quite busy and has a lot of recreational boaters (tubing, waterskiers and sea-doos)...this makes fishing a little more challenging. Two notable negatives for us...quality of the beds and the access between the cottage and parking area...while we could handle the stairs, there is a real steep slope at top of stairs that may be challenging for elders or others with mobility issues.

| This was our second stay at the cottage - and enjoyed it as much as the first time. It is a private location on an awesome lake (with great swimming). Our daughters had a great time swimming, using the kayaks, canoe and stand-up paddle board. There is a great firepit for evening fires outside. Would recommend!
