| What a beautiful place! Our family stayed here in early August (2023). As soon as we pulled in the driveway, we all immediately started to relax, and that mood continued throughout our stay.
The views of the river are lovely, rain or shine. As soon as you walk into the side door, a glance to the left provides incredible vistas through the many windows. It's as though you're looking out over the water from a boat. Additionally, it is an extremely quiet, private, and peaceful location.
We watched Netflix, worked on puzzles, went swimming, played badminton (great area for this on the side yard), sat out on the deck, and just generally took a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while we enjoyed spending time together. When we went into town on a couple of occasions (very short drive), the slower pace of this area was more than welcome. And yet everything we needed was available. It was also amazing to sleep with the windows open at night and not have to worry about being awakened by neighbours or noisy vehicles speeding by (as is the case for us in the city). Oh, and the many plants inside and out were great, too!
Overall, this was a wonderful destination for a week of holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and were reluctant to leave at the end of our stay. Thanks for everything, Danny!

| We were looking for a cottage in a quiet setting that was close to hiking trails and some casual fishing. We found that with Riverhouse. The view of the Gatineau River in the morning with the rising sun and a hot cup of coffee was very enjoyable. The close proximity of the Gatineau Park was excellent for hiking and looking at the changing colors of fall. Riverhouse was also close to Wakefield where we enjoyed some fabulous meals in the local restaurants.
We would highly recommend this rental property and would not hesitate renting it again.

| We have rented this cottage on 2 separate occasions due to the fact that it's paradise only half hour away from ottawa. It's fully equipped with lots of space inside and out, with everything you need to just relax and enjoy. Will be going again! For sure, Thanks Danny
