This four season, smoke-free family cottage is just 3 blocks from Port Elgin's beautiful sandy beach on Lake Huron. Strolling distance to downtown, shopping, restaurants, beaches, events and other attractions.
There are four bedrooms- 2-queens and the other two are double-single bunk beds. The place sleeps ten people comfortably (One large family or two small families) with a four piece bathroom.

What we have included...
*Unlimited internet, smart tv (with ROKU and Netflix)
*It has everything you need in the kitchen. A moveable island for prep work/serving, microwave, crock pot, rice cooker, blender, Keurig machine, fridge and stove.
*The kitchen looks out onto a private, fenced backyard with a covered porch, BBQ, patio set and fire pit.
*There will be some toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, paper towels and garbage tags.

You will need to bring:
*sheets, blankets and pillows
*all towels, dish clothes/tea towels
*personal soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc...

NOTES

The rental week runs from Saturday check-in at 3PM to the next Saturday check-out at 12 PM.

A $300 refundable security deposit is required to book a rental period. This is refunded either after your stay (no damage to the premises) or if you have to cancel 60 days prior to your stay. After that no refunds can be provided. The full rental fee is due 30 days prior to your stay payable by email transfer or cash.

When contacting regarding booking, please indicate week(s) preferred, # of adults, # of children (and ages) and any possible guests you may wish to have. Rental rate reservations are based on one large single family or two small families.

Camp fire wood, linens, towels and personal toiletries are not included. Cottage must be left clean as found.

Contact owner for day or weekend rates in the off season as cottage will be available until end of October.

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and an excellent location. Lovely private backyard. The owners Ed and Corinna very prompt and helpful. Have already raved about this cottage to family and friends.

This is a great cottage for a family. Clean and neat, it's roomy, well equipped, up to date, with a completely enclosed, and spacious back yard. It's perfect if you have young kids. There is a large covered deck out back as well that is nice for rainy days ... however it's also great for meal time or just hanging around outside having drinks. If you're in Port Elgin for the beach it's a short and pleasant walk away. All in all, this is a great value in a great location. The owners, Corinna and Ed are accommodating and easy to deal with. I highly recommend their 'Out of the Blue' cottage for a great vacation!

Our family has been renting cottages in Port Elgin for 13 summers in a row and we all agreed that this cottage was the best one yet. The cottage was modern and totally up to date when it comes to how it looks. The rooms were big with plenty of room to sleep for everyone. The kitchen and covered back deck were great for our meals in good weather and in bad. Thank you Corinna and Ed for an awesome week in Port Elgin.

Absolutely amazing cottage located about a 10min walk from the beach. The place is super clean, very well taken care of, and you can tell that it's one of the better ones on the street by things like the entire back yard being enclosed for privacy, the windows are modern, the entire property is very well kept, etc.

Communication with the owners was done entirely by email but they were very responsive.

The place does not have a laundry machine but there's a landromat just a few blocks away on Market street (a 5min drive). The only downside was that we had to bring our own linens (i.e. sheets, blankets and pillows) but it was still very much worth it!
