Our four season waterfront cottage accommodate 8-10 persons and located on chain of three lakes provide more then 15 miles of boating, fishing and snowmoile trails right from cottage. Cottage located 1 hour 50 minutes Highway drive from GTA . Property includes 3.5 acres of wooded flat land and 570 feet of waterfront. There is parking space for up to 8 vehicles. The cottage is only a few years old, 1700 sq feet with propane furnace and ceiling fans in rooms, fully furnished with a modern look, big family room with propane fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen, including stove, full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, water cooler for drinking water, laundry with washer and dryer. Four bedrooms have queen size beds and large wardrobes for clothing. Extra four cots are avaliable, (Please bring your own bed sheets.) 42" and 55" TV's, DVD's players and movies collection, strong cell phone connection, water filtration and UV system. Three washrooms: Two full bathrooms, one with a shower, other with Jacuzzi and one 2 pieces washroom. (Please bring your own towels). Large deck with propane BBQ and outdoor furniture. Huge play area: trampoline, swing and 18' pool for a kids, shallow waterfront 570ft long with a stone and sand, some weeds and bushes, 3' depth at the end of the dock, fire pit, Gazebo, chairs and a picnic table. There is a canoe, life jackets, we also could rent our 12' boat with 9.9 motor or 16' pontoon boat with 40hp motor, (if you have Pleasure Craft Operator Card) or bring your own, there is room on sides of the dock to park a boat. There is a boat launch in Seguin marina 2 minutes away. General store very well stocked with groceries, LCBO and hardware, 5 minutes drive. Additional shopping available in Parry Sound (Sobeys. Canadian Tire, Walmart, Home Depot, etc). | Overall our stay was pretty good. Andrey was great - easy to contact and very responsive with all the information. Even during the stay when we had questions he was very quick to respond and assist.The cottage itself was clean and well kept, although a bit dated. The kitchen was spacious and had all the amenities. The one drawback for the inside of the cottage was that there is only one shower (which is mentioned in the description) but this was a hassle for everyone to take a shower, especially as it was in one of the bedrooms. The outside of the cottage could definitely use some work and landscaping.
Overall it was a good weekend.

Owner response: It's sad to get 3* review for all our efforts and our lovely place, but sometimes it happens. Once, a person complained was: he dropped his iphone from the dock and couldn't find it. People are curious... We are doing our best to keep the cottage clean, nice looking with a lot of details and comfortable for our guests. I'm still not clear why you gave 3*. As you say: " .The cottage itself was clean and well kept" We have 2.5 washrooms. One with a jacuzzi and shower head, second with shower cabin and last has a 2 piece toilet. 4 bedroom cottage and 2.5 bathroom I think it's good enough. Also outside it's a place that people are usually very happy with, a lot of space, activities and chilling places. maybe because it's fall and looks fading, but we always have positive reviews no matter what season. Anyway, hopefully next time you find a place which completely fits your expectations. Best Regards. Andrey | |
