LOCATED 10 minutes from Kensington, 20 minutes to Cavendish and Summerside and 35 minutes to Confederation Bridge. Our beach house is also located close to many of the Island's golf courses and attractions. Property layout provides perfect accommodations for 2 families. This bright, new 2 storey - 4 bedroom beach house is situated on a quiet lane just 400' from one of Prince Edward Island's hidden treasures, on the North Shore - the Beach at Thunder Cove, in Darnley. Walk out the door and follow the red clay lane the very short distance to the sand dunes. Over the dunes, you will find the most beautiful beach on the Island, covered in a blanket of soft, light sand. This beach is yours to enjoy, for the duration of your stay. The cottage main floor has 3 bedrooms, bath, laundry and small sitting area. The second floor features the main living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, master bedroom and a second full bath. A short drive to the local fish market and Anne of Green Gables museums. Popular local venues include O'Neil Home Gallery & Cafe, Ship to Shore Restaurant, Malpeque Oyster Barn, Island Stone Pub and C & B Cafe.
Look for many other restaurants and attractions along the North Shore and take time to visit The Art Gallery of Tony Diodati and Sea Garden Gallery, both located in nearby Spring Brook. Be sure to take in the world famous scenery as you travel through the tiny fishing village of French River. The Graham Brothers' deep sea fishing excursions sailing out of New London and Stanley Bridge wharves are also a popular activity.
