This beautiful, bright 2 storey - 4 bedroom beach house is situated on a quiet lane just 400' from one of Prince Edward Island's hidden treasures, on the North Shore - the Beach at Thunder Cove, in Darnley. Walk out the door and follow the red clay lane the very short distance to the sand dunes. Over these dunes, you will find the most beautiful beach on the Island, covered in a blanket of soft, light sand. This beach is yours to enjoy, for the duration of your stay.
The cottage main floor has 3 bedrooms, bath, laundry and small sitting area. The second floor features the main living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, master bedroom and a second full bath. Upper and lower decks on two sides of the cottage offer additional outdoor living space and ithe deal spot to enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

A short drive to the local Fish Market and Anne of Green Gables museums. Popular local venues include Knead a Brake Bakery and Bike Shop, Ship to Shore Restaurant, Malpeque Oyster Barn, Island Stone Pub and C & B Cafe.
Look for many other restaurants and attractions along the North Shore and take time to visit The Art Gallery of Tony Diodati in nearby Spring Brook. Be sure to take in the world famous scenery as you travel through the tiny fishing village of French River. The Graham Brothers' deep sea fishing excursions sailing out of New London and Stanley Bridge wharves are also a popular activity. And a visit to Island Hill Farm will be enjoyed by the entire family.
OTHER PEI things to try during your visit -- for the fish lovers - fresh lobster, mussels, Malpeque Bay oysters, clams and fish tacos are available in abundance. Enjoy weekly Ceilidhs at Malpeque and Stanley Bridge community halls, strawberry socials, community parades and festivals, musical concerts at the historical St. Mary's Church in Indian River or a visit to The Haunted Mansion in Kensington.
