Located 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa/ Gatineau in Val-des-Monts.
Half an hour from the end of the work day, you can be putting your feet up on the dock and catching the late-day sun, kicking off the weekend with a cold cocktail. This renovated and fully appointed cottage is perfect for couples!
Wake up to an array of bird songs and an amazing view of the lake 30 feet up the pines in the forest-themed bedroom, feeling like you just spent the night in a cozy woodland glade. Don?t worry if you had a late night - it?s got a light-blocking blind for sleeping in. :-) New to the bedroom this year is a wall-mounted Napoleon electric fireplace. Use the remote to set your comfort level and the colours of the built-in LED accent lighting.
Enjoy a tranquil morning paddle across the non-motorized lake, where you're sure to spot turtles and maybe the occasional otter or beaver.
We recommend having all your meals on the huge deck overlooking the lake - a great atmosphere any time of the day. You might even see the resident heron swing by. It has a two-person dining table and chairs, Napoleon BBQ, and comfy lounging chairs.
Wind down with a quiet evening at the lakeside fire pit, where you may just hear the loon calling. Later on, head inside and watch your favourite show/movie on the brand new 55" smart tv before hitting the sack.

NOTES Additional nights after the first two: $175/night REVIEWS | Matthew | |
| We have a wonderful stay at the Lazy Coyote Cottage. It is immaculately appointed and had everything that we needed to cook our meals, unwind, and just relax. Pamela and Glenn have everything perfectly labelled and it felt just like home.
The small lake doesn't allow for any motorboats, which meant there wasn't a lot of noise. It was peaceful, quiet, and everything we wanted in a getaway.
