BLUEHAVEN COTTAGE is a second row cottage rental off Lake Huron in the community of Bayview, just south of St Joseph (8 minutes north of the Grand Bend strip), with private community beach access.
The cottage has three bedrooms, sleeping 7 in bedrooms, and sleeping two more on a futon in the side living room, so it sleeps 9 in total.
BlueHaven can be rented from Friday to Friday through July and August (with some exceptions where just a weekend or just weekdays can be rented).
Rental periods are much more flexible when it isn't summertime.
Bluehaven has a nice open concept feel, with amenities including:
Bluehaven offers high-speed wireless internet, a nice mix of modern and antique furnishings, large trees and areas of full sun and deep shade in the backyard, firepit, flat screen TV, DVD player, movies, games, BBQ, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker/microwave/toaster, dishes/cutlery, pots/pans, and washing machine (clothesline dry).
Pets are not allowed inside - allergens/dander etc. Some exceptions may apply.
Our private community beach is nice and sandy, with just enough pebble for the kids to go stone collecting. This beach is a 3 minute walk along the lakefront street, then turn and take the steps down to the beach. Additionally, there is an excellent beach just 3 minutes drive to the north where you can drive right down and park at beach level, and utilize the beaches there for free. Both our private community beach and the nice beach just north of us are federal beaches, so you can enjoy a campfire or fireworks right down at the beaches. And you can't beat the fabulous sunsets over Lake Huron!
Bedroom Description:
This three bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 9 people comfortably; 7 in bedrooms and 2 more on a futon in a side living room. A pack 'n play can be made available for infants.
Blankets and pillows are provided, but please bring your own towels and linens/pillow cases for the beds (linens can be provided for a fee): Master bedroom: Queen bed 2nd bedroom: Double bed 3rd bedroom: Single over Double bunk bed

Location Description:
The White Squirrel golf course and bar/restaurant is just across the highway from the cottage, within walking distance.
There is a Canadian Chinese restaurant about a two minute walk from the cottage; they give large portions!
A short drive to the Huron County Playhouse and the Starlite Drive in Theatre.
In St Joseph, 1 km north, there is a gas station/variety store and a large Mennonite furniture store.
The main strip and beach/splashpad at Grand Bend is just 8 minutes to the south, as well as all the restaurants, harbours and shopping that Grand Bend has to offer.
The beautiful village of Bayfield with its beaches, restaurants and marinas is 12 minutes north.
The big laker ship docks and beaches of Goderich are 30 mins to the north.
Off season weekends and Shoulder Season weeks and weekends (May, June, September) are negotiable based on occupancy.

| We very much enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven! Perfect location for our family reunion between the beach and golf course! Quiet, friendly neighborhood and lots of room in the comfortable cottage for our group! We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space as well!!! Jeremy was very nice to deal with and responded promptly whenever we communicated! Definitely hope to be back!!!

| We loved the cottage!! I booked a girls weekend here and it was perfect!! We had so much fun!! Jeremy was excellent! He was able to communicate with me and answered all my questions within a timely manner! We loved the open concept and many spots to sit and all hangout as a group both inside and outside! It only minutes away from Grand Bend which worked out perfect! We also went to the White Squirrel golf course and restaurant which was right across the road! We didn't have to worry about transportation! We loved the walk to the beach was just a couple minutes!
I would recommend this cottage to everyone! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking it in the future!!

| Bluehaven cottage was a lovely cottage for the whole family. Very clean, large space with all the amenities needed for our week there. Jeremy is a wonderful host, quick to respond and accommodating when needed. Beaches where a quick drive away. Cottage location between Grand Bend and Bayfield made for easy day trips.

| Our family of 5 had a lovely 2 night stay at Bluehaven cottage over family day weekend. It was our first time in Grand Bend and we took advantage of the beautiful trails and hikes to Lake Huron & seeing sunset. Jeremy was very helpful providing information including the nature hike nearby the cottage. We appreciated the open space concept kitchen/family area with all the main essentials, and kept nice and warm with the main heat, gas fireplace, and portable heaters. Thanks again for a wonderful get away - we hope to visit again during the warm weather!
