Set on nearly two private acres surrounded by forest, the cottage offers a peaceful, natural retreat. With the Haliburton Forest right in our backyard, you're perfectly positioned for unforgettable day trips — from hiking and treetop adventures to visiting the famous wolf centre.
Pelaw Lake is known for its clear, calm waters, ideal for swimming, paddling, and exploring. Guests have access to:

For a bit of nostalgic fun, enjoy our professional tetherball setup and a variety of outdoor games. From May through September, you can jump straight off the dock into refreshing water, with the shoreline gradually revealing more sandy beach as summer unfolds.

The Haliburton Room
Love the outdoors but not the bugs? This screened-in room is a guest favorite. Breezy and comfortable, it opens directly onto the elevated deck and BBQ area — perfect from morning coffee to late-night chats.
The Lower Level
Designed for fun (and great for separating kids from adults!). Enjoy a full-size ping-pong table, professional dartboard, large smart TV, and powerful sound system. Walk straight out to the lake and fire pit from here.
The Loft
A cozy games loft filled with board games, plus a quiet desk space for those who need to work remotely. Ideal for reading, relaxing, or sneaking in an afternoon nap.

We have great fishing right off our dock and throughout the 3 connected lakes. Lost of Bass, and trout.
