| Down the years we have visited many cottages, this one is ranked in our top two. Firstly Marnie was a pleasure to work with, always available even emailing us on the day of our arrival to make sure we got in okay and everything was to our satisfaction. The cottage is really nice and obvious to see that the owners have spent a lot of time and money to create the cottage you see in the pictures. Which incidentally are true and correct not like some places we have been to where the camera does lie. The gem of the place is the screened in porch, we spent probably 80% of the time in there, it is nicely furnished with comfortable seating, another great thing about this place is the amount of seating outside, again very comfortable, the outside area is very private. The kitchen was very well equipped everything you would need. We throughly enjoyed our stay, my son and grandson enjoyed going out in the kayaks very much, Foote lake is not that big so you felt very comfortable going out on the water. All in all a great place to visit, and throughly deserving the five stars I gave it in my opinion. Thanks again Marnie for a great week.

| We came from Florida to spend some time with my Canadian family this summer. This cottage was so cozy and comfortable - plenty of space for entertaining and enjoying each other's company. We thoroughly enjoyed the watersports and the outdoor space - close to town and wonderfully equipped with all the comforts of home - especially in the kitchen! This kitchen had everything - most unexpectedly for a cottage/vacation home. We will be back next year!!!! The hosts were always available for a question or to help in any way and were super nice to work with. I would highly recommend this place!!

Wonderful time! The ride in was bumpy, dusty and delightful. As advertised, the cottage was compact and comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffees on the deck and early enough, you can hear the loons on the lake. The resident chippy was a persistant, yet endearing little critter. Expansive decks and seating gave us lots of options to move with the sun/or seek shade. Beautiful views of the trees, lake and blue skies! Sitting at the end of the dock and simply communing with nature was priceless. Took the kayaks and floaties out to deeper water for refreshing swims. Watershoes are a must. Kitchen was well equipped. Yes, it took us 2 days to find the tea kettle. But you know, boiling water in a pan on the stove works too! Our hosts were very accommodating and personable. The only suggestion we can make would be for more direct lighting over the dining room table. We had to get creative with a variety of shade less table lamps for better illumination. When did the numbers on playing cards get so small
As a family, we spent quality time together and made extra special memories in a really lovely setting. Ohhh...and we (the sisters) had to fight over who washes up the dishes, because looking out that back window into the woods...listening to the birds...was great quiet time. How things have changes. Good times!
