Bring your family and enjoy cottage life on the peaceful Severn River! This 4 bedroom year-round home is well appointed and comfortable for up to 10 people (6 adults maximum) and is ideally suited for two families to share with each family having their own floor with two bedrooms, one bathroom and sitting area. This is not the place for parties and loud noise - we are in a quiet community of mostly year round homes and families. The gorgeous 8 person Jacuzzi J-495 Hot Tub is a great place to relax, soak and unwind and it's open year round! The waterfront includes a large dock and beautiful sandy beach with gradual entry which is great for kids and adults! Lots of watercraft is included for your enjoyment including 5 adult kayaks, 1 child kayak, a canoe and one stand up paddle board. Adult lifejackets are provided. There is also a 14' aluminum boat with 6HP motor available for rent should you want to explore the river or nearby lakes and do some fishing (must show valid Boater's License). We are very close to lock 42 to cruise into Lake Couchiching or about 20 minutes by boat to Sparrow Lake. There is a firepit (we provide the firewood) and plenty of outdoor chairs to sit and enjoy the views or make some s'mores by the fire. The cottage features a beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops and includes a dishwasher and a huge side by side fridge and freezer. Everything you need to prepare scrumptious meals is at your disposal and a propane BBQ is just outside on the large open deck. The dining room seats 10 people with the table extended and the outdoor patio table can seat 8 or more. Bedrooms are well furnished with closets and storage space and comfortable new mattresses. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and view of the river with patio doors direct to the deck. Bathrooms are clean and modern and both include full functioning shower panel systems. The two lower level bedrooms are brand new in 2021 and feature a Queen bed in one room and a single over double bunk bed with a single trundle bed. Linens and bath towels are provided - please bring your own beach towels.

| I chose this cottage mainly because of the reviews, and let me just say, they did not disappoint. In fact, everything was way better than anything said and shown on here.
The pictures, do not do the cottage justice. It looks amazing inside and out, with everything you need. And I do mean everything.
Beds are super comfy and fun for the kids. ( they loved having their own bunk bed). Plenty of space anywhere around the cottage to just sit and relax or read a book.
There are so many board games, we had a hard time choosing.
The kitchen is stocked and equiped with all the cookware and dishes you need.
All you need to bring is clothes and groceries. Also, many many DVDs downstairs to choose from.
The hot tub was amazing especially in the winter time.
Steve was so friendly and helpful, I am so happy we decided to rent this cottage. Definitely going back in the summer time to enjoy the river. Overall stay was incredible, the kids and adults loved it, but 2 nights were not enough!

| We had a wonderful stay at the river house! Roseanne and Steve were incredible hosts and were warm and very responsive and helpful. The cottage was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The Sandy beach and shallow waterfront were perfect for our young kids! We enjoyed all of the waterfront activities provided and were very comfortable overall. The cottage is located on a quiet street and we enjoyed watching the boats go by on the river. We were two families with young children and found it to be very kid friendly.

| We can not say enough good things about Gatherings River House. We (father, sister and us) have just spent a week enjoying the cottage and all that it offers. It is extremely well appointed, very clean and Rosanne and Steve could not be nicer. They were very prompt to answer any questions that were directed their way. It has plenty of watercraft to enjoy this beautiful piece of the river, and outdoor games too. And the amount of board games, puzzles, and DVD's for kids and adults, was unbelievable. We have been renting cottages for many years and this is the first time we have had this much choice! The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was truly a delight! Please do not hesitate to book this cottage for your holiday needs!!

| Amazing place to enjoy and relax!! I just got back from a stay at Gatherings River House and it was truly an amazing week! I went up with 3 generations (my family, sisters family and grandparents). There was something for everyone to enjoy! We were immediately impressed with how beautiful and clean the cottage was. The beds were super comfortable everyone got a good nights sleep! Kitchen was amazing with everything you will need. I have been renting for over 10 years now and this is the first cottage that had it all! Outside the grounds are beautiful, truly a place to sit back and enjoy! Cottage also comes equipped with all that you need to have some water fun! Couldn't get my kids off the kayak's! The owners Rosanne and Steve are wonderful and attentive! Couldn't believe how fast they responded to any questions we had and made booking super easy. Guaranteed a cottage I will be renting again :)

| We highly recommend this clean and well maintained cottage with an easy check-in and check-out process. There are plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and pots and comfortable sleeping arrangements.
One of the most defining features of this cottage is the beautiful scenic view from the large deck.
The cottage Host is super accommodating and responded to any inquiries with immediate and helpful responses which made our stay extra special.
We enjoyed our stay and definitely want to visit this wonderful place again!
