| The chalet has had some updates (bathroom, mattresses, fridge) but the living room furniture needs upgrades as well, as there is no really comfortable place to sit. The lake is overgrown with invasive milfoil but is ok for watercraft. The terrain is uneven for anyone who has mobility issues, and you have a gentle downhill walk to the lake.

Owner response: Thank you, Patricia, for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased that you recognized several of the updates that have been made to the chalet. We would like to provide some additional context for future guests. During your stay, the sole concern brought to our attention was addressed promptly, and an additional kayak was delivered within hours to ensure guests could continue enjoying the waterfront amenities. Regarding the furnishings, the living room furniture shown in our listing photos is the same furniture currently in the chalet. While comfort is subjective and personal preferences vary, we strive to represent the property accurately through our photos and descriptions so guests know what to expect before booking. With respect to the terrain, the property is generally level with a gradual walk down to the waterfront. The chalet, shoreline, and access to the lake are all visible in our listing photographs, allowing prospective guests to assess whether the property is suitable for individuals with mobility issues. Aquatic vegetation in the lake is a natural seasonal condition that can vary throughout the summer and from year to year. Guests enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and its wildlife, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and other waterfront activities, as reflected in our many positive reviews of their stay at our chalet. We take pride in our property, in maintaining an accurate representation of the chalet, and in providing responsive guest services. We encourage prospective guests to review our many positive reviews, which reflect the experiences of the vast majority of visitors to our chalet. We wish you all the best. | |

| We enjoyed our stay at this lovely and well maintained cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The inside of the cottage was very clean and the outside was also well maintained. Our 4 year old grandson enjoyed the play structure/swing set. The fire pits were well stocked with wood. We made use of the canoe and kayaks that were available for our use. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we had. The water was lovely Past the dock. However the beach entrance was very muddy with lots of weeds. Not great for little ones wanting to swim.

| This cottage was quaint, cozy, and picture-perfect! The location was amazing - just 45 mins outside of Ottawa. The cottage was immaculately clean and very private. We had our own private dock, canoes, kayaks, and the best part - a large floating mat where we spent the entire day soaking up the sun. The swimming was great too! I will definitely be returning to this cottage before the summer ends!

| What an amazing Chalet experience! The cottage is situated in a VERY quiet area and the layout of the cottage and walk to the water and dock was fun and amazing. The cottage was in immaculate condition and the surrounding area well taken care of. Our hosts were amazing. We ran out of Propane and within minute of my call, the issue was resolved. The two firepits were awesome. We ended up using one as our cooking fire and the other as our night time fire. The kids (9 and 13) had an amazing time! It was refreshing to see them keep busy with fishing (which was AMAZING), water activities and nature walks. We also LOVED the location, close to a my beloved Poutine, corner store, Ice Cream and a wonderful little riverside town which we enjoyed. Overall a great experience for our family!!!
