Welcome to our family retreat! This piece of cottage country is located in Chateau Village of Falls Lake, NS and is great for large family gatherings. With 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths this cottage can accomodate up to 12 people and is great for kids - with lots of yard to run around, games to play, lakeside beach to enjoy, and forest to explore. Swim and play all day, bbq on the large deck, then roast marshmallows around the firepit under the stars. The large cottage overlooks pristine Falls Lake and features a T-shaped dock, floating swim mat, lakeside fire pit, lots of games (washer toss, bean bag toss, board games, kronkinole, etc), 3 kayaks, a paddle board, and lots of life jackets. It's located about 10 minutes from Ski Martock and OnTree Fun Adventure Park. The home offers two full bathrooms, 5 bedrooms including a bunk bed for the kids. As well as two seating areas (2 sofas) and room for an air mattress (included). The home is fully equipped with a convenient dishwasher, washer & dryer, WiFi, Netflix, Prime, 3 TV's & a Bluetooth speaker. There's a cozy wood stove in the living room and our wonderful firepit under the stars as well as a relaxing hottub. During the spring and summer, the cottage is perfect for families who enjoy boating, golf, hanging at the lake, playing on swim mat, exploring wineries, and nearby OnTree, as well as exploring nearby communities such as Chester, Luneburg, or Wolfville. | This cottage is great for large families! We had such an amazing time. Kathy is great and was quick to respond. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Large windows look over the beautiful property and lake. We enjoyed a campfire around the firepit which had lots of room for everyone to sit around. This was our first time staying at this lovely cottage and we would love to come back!

| Great cottage for families - has a master bedroom upstairs w/ baby room and crib or bassinet. Each floor has a full bathroom with shower (x3) All rooms have good blacking out curtains or blinds. A/C available in main space, downstairs, and master bedroom. Packed with games for a rainy day. Kitchen area is a bit small and will get cramped easily with more than one person working in it.
The outside area was amazing with a beautiful dock and lake for swimming with a rocky beach area good for kids to play. The lot itself was very private. The lot is generally sloped but is tiered with flat areas for outdoor lawn games. The fire pit area was really nice had a lot of comfortable seats. The hot tub was big enough for 6 adults comfortably and is a great addition to enjoy at night or on colder days.
Host was very responsive and it was overall a great visit.

| We had a fantastic time at this cottage, the location was perfect to get to a number of places. Wolfville, Hubbards, Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggys Cove all easy to get to. The baby room of the Master Bedroom was perfect for my daughter's 7 month old , a great setup . Lots of room for our family of eight. And of course the view was beautiful and water access was great for swimming.
Kathy was great, got back to us quickly with any questions we had. Would highly recommend for family.
