A canoe, paddle-boat, paddle board, and kayak are all provided. Life jackets and swimming noodles are stored in the cottage - guests are advised to bring their own life jackets for children or inexperienced swimmers. An outdoor deck features a table for 8 and a gas barbecue, and on the dock you'll find Muskoka chairs and an umbrella. Bed linens, including sheets and duvet covers, are provided for a fee. | Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us. For various reasons we haven't been able to take a proper family vacation in several years. So, it was a joy to be able to relax and see everyone decompress a little.
You have a beautiful property. We enjoyed the historic rustic charm of the exterior and modernized comfortable interior. The size and rooms were perfect for our group. The dock was
large and great for hanging out, using the cottages water toys and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We even rented a jet ski from The Cove Marina which they delivered to the lake just a few minutes from the cottage. The cottage is close to both Port Carling and Bala making trips to Don's Bakery and dinners out easy. Additionally, the BBQ on the deck was awesome and saw a lot of use.
The owner was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions quickly and responsively. My wife's only have complaint was that we didn't book 2 weeks. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Don't be surprised if you hear from us again!

| Our family had an incredible time at the Sunset in the Pines Cottage. The setting was stunning. We were steps to the water where we enjoyed all the "toys" provided (peddle boat, paddle board, kayak, canoe). It was wonderful just "hanging out" on the dock, taking in the beautiful sunsets. The location of the cottage was also ideal - close to Bala and Port Carling for meals out. We rented a pontoon boat from Hamer Bay Marine which was a short 15 minute drive away and spent the day on Lake Joseph. We also golfed at "The Rock", which was beautiful but challenging! Look for Tuesday specials (a sandwich, drink, cart and golf for only $89). The cottage itself was well appointed, modern and very clean. The space was perfect with large common spaces for gathering. Our host was also incredible, responding quickly to all questions. I could not write a more positive review.

| This cottage did not disappoint. The waterfront, the dock area, & the sunsets were amazing. The interior was lovely with all the amenities you would ever need - we particularly liked the outlook from the master bedroom. And the location was great conveniently close to both Bala & Port Carling. The owner was a pleasure to deal with & we would not hesitate to return.

| This cottage, as its our 3rd time in a row, (and we've been renting cottages for a decade ++ in the Muskoka's), is the one that has all ++ what we expect for a cottage stay. What the owners have upgraded from 'good to excellent' every year continues to impress us immensely. You sit at the waters edge/awesome waterfront w/sun right through to sunset near 9pm.. or the above deck in the AM sun for coffee or dinner BBQ's, or even just in the sitting area's inside are all premium settings. The bedroooms.. well.. to die for, simply so well positioned, views of the lake, white & bright with premium mattresses, floor to ceiling crank windows, washroom finishes are jaw-dropping awesome..all this indicates a guaranteed beautiful experiance.
