This Private Island is located in the Sans Souci area of Georgian Bay and in the heart of the Massassauga Provincial Park. This region has some of the best freshwater boating in the world and is unmatched for its rugged beauty and serenity. This island is an ideal location to escape and enjoy a truly unique experience. A kayaker's and fisherman's dream. Enjoy limitless opportunities to explore and create forever memories.
The island is accessible by water only. The island is a 15-20 minute scenic boat ride from Woods Bay through calm and protected waters. There are water taxi services available from Woods Bay Marina as well as Moon river marina if you do not have your own boat. We will gladly assist in arranging the taxi service if required.
Enjoy the privacy of the island all to yourself or bring family and friends! The main cottage has 1 master bedroom with ensuite as well as a two piece bath, open concept living area with a 10 person banquet dining table. There is a Guest Cottage with screened in porch, kitchenette and dining space plus six beds (Bedroom #2). There is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath bunkie with deck (Bedroom #3 and #4). There is a bath house with full laundry and shower. There is also a small Bunkie and dry boat house that can accommodate additional guests if required. All buildings and docking areas are connected by a series of boardwalks making traversing the property very easy and comfortable.
The island is quite private with very few neighbouring cottages. The water off the dock is clean and deep for excellent swimming. These waters are excellent fishing for all species with access to big deep water for lake trout and salmon as well as endless back bays and channels which provide excellent habitat for bass, pickerel, big pike, and trophy muskie.
Located within 10 minutes of Frying Pan Island amenities which include marina, general store, LCBO, Henry's fish & chips restaurant and ice cream. There are several government docking sites nearby which include walking trails, Wreck Island being one of them. 30 minute boat ride to Parry Sound where Guests can enjoy several restaurants, shopping, or consider a scenic plane ride offered by Georgian Bay Airways.

e require guests to please sign a rental agreement prior to booking (delivered via email) for insurance purposes. We also collect a $750 refundable damage deposit.
The water taxi accommodates 5-6 people and gear (luggage, food, etc.) . The marina charges $120 per hour, with a minimum 1/2 hour charge - which starts on loading and finishes when the taxi returns to the marina. A round trip taxi ride will be roughly $200-240.
Bookings are subject to HST which is included in the rate.
