Near the shores of beautiful Hawkins Lake, in the heart of Cariboo cottage country, is nestled this magical Carver's Cottage.

Lovingly created by an artisan as his final labor of love, we have restored this very unique cottage with all modern amenities. The peaceful and relaxing setting is only enhanced by the little extras - a firepit, a screened gazebo and a charming little tree house.

Explore the three different lakes only minutes away. Lake access for Hawkins Lake is only a stone's throw away. And the public boat launch is available at three driving minutes. Picturesque Ruth Lake offers great paddling and fishing only 10 minutes to the west, while popular Canim Lake is located a mere 9 km to the east.

Nicely tucked away at the edge of the woods, the almost 1,000 sq.ft. of character cottage offers a not-so-ordinary spot to get away from it all for 4 guests. By special arrangement, a small guest cabin with two single beds is available on the property to accommodate 2 additional guests.

Settle into the comfortable chairs in the cozy living room with a book or with your device. Or spend family time around the large dining room table with picture windows looking out over the forest floor.

Cook up your favorite recipes in the fully equipped kitchen and on the propane barbecue on the covered porch. Alternatively , you can cook a rustic meal over an open fire in the fire pit in the private back yard. Your fire wood and kindling are all ready to go. Dirty dishes conveniently go in the dishwasher afterwards.
