Welcome to Serenity Blue Cottage! We are nestled in a quiet bay on Beautiful Bobs Lake. To elevate your stay at our family cottage we offer a large selection of watercraft toys to explore the lake, including: - 2 kayaks - stand up paddle board - canoe - pedal boat Right past our quiet Bay leads to a no-wake zone, which makes for an incredible kayaking/ paddling area. There are hours of picturesque terrain to be enjoyed. A short paddle ride brings you to a spectacular sandy beach located on an island across from the cottage. There is also nearby cliff jumping accessible by paddle for those looking for a thrill.
We have a large dock that is perfect for relaxing out by the water! You can jump right off the dock for deep water swimming or use the shallow entry area for getting in and out of watercrafts.
Highlights of the cottage: Our home away from home features two large bedrooms and a spacious loft, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 3 piece bathroom, large open deck with a great view of the lake, a screened-in room (plus table & chairs for games and recreation), BBQ, fire pit, and UV treated well water.
For your entertainment: the cottage comes equipped with a Smart TV, wireless internet, DVD player with DVD's, outdoor lawn games, lots of board games and card games.
For those who love to fish: Bobs lake is renowned internationally for offering some of the world's greatest fishing. It is a large lake with more than 120 islands and 740 km of shoreline. Walleye, bass, perch, pike, crappies, and all types of pan fish are in full abundance. You can use our provided watercraft's or bring your own boat and dock it at our large dock. A boat launch is available just 5 minutes down the road.
If you're looking for a day out: the town of Sharbot Lake is close by and has an amazing sandy public beach, large children's play structures, two restaurants, as well as our family favourite cafe/ice cream spot. Westport and Kingston are also great options as well. Westport has an array of cute shops and some amazing restaurants and Kingston has a large shopping mall, outlet mall, and a vast amount of food options. The K&P walking/biking/hiking trail is also a great spot to visit and can be accessed 5 minutes from our cottage.
We are easily accessible from Ottawa (1.5 hrs drive) and Toronto (3 hrs drive). All the amenities (groceries, restaurants, bakery, coffee shop, LCBO, pharmacy) are less than a 20 minute drive!

| The Positives:
- road to the cottage was in excellent shape.
-supply of games and movies
-owner met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the cottage.
- very clean and in good condition
-drop off spot for garbage so you don't have to cart it home.
- well equipped kitchen .
-many hooks and hanging spots for things, something that was definitely lacking in many cottages that we have rented.
-There were several extras that were appreciated....a snack package and several "in case you forgot packages"....thoughtful added touches.
-wildlife at the dock.....eagle, otter, birds etc..
-owner was friendly, quick to reply/answer questions/refund security deposit etc...She even checked in with us during the week to make sure all was good.
The Possible Negatives:
- if you have mobility issue the over 50 steps to the lake might be an issue.
-one neighbor's cottage is very close and two other docks(one if front not shown in pics) are very close to this cottages dock so if hearing the neighbors conversations is an issue then this might not be the right spot for you.
If the 2 possible negatives are not an issue for you then I highly recommend this cottage.

| This was an ideal holiday spot: quiet, peaceful, and great swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. The calm water was also really good for novice paddle boarders. The cottage was bright and cheery with lots of room for our family of four, with great beds and a very well-equipped kitchen. The living room was very cozy for cool, rainy nights. The lot is also large and seemed quite secluded.

| I went to the cottage with 3 teenagers hoping for a relaxing vacation and it was everything I hoped for! The cottage had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen, BBQ and even ?just in case you forgot? items provided by the cottage owner. The lake is quiet due to being in a no wake zone so it's very peaceful. We made use of the kayaks and canoe provided to venture around. On a rainy day, the board games supplied in the cottage kept the teenagers busy. In the morning we were greeted by the calls of local birds and at night the fireflies made the path to the water appear magical. I would highly recommend!

| We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was clean and airy and the view to the water is beautiful.
Everything you need is at the cottage and the screened in porch lets you enjoy the weather without bugs and even if it rains. The water is lovely, and having the kayaks there was awesome. The owners gave us a welcome basket which was a lovely touch. The kids really enjoyed playing the games. It's a great place to unwind and connect with family.
