Casa del Rio Cottage will welcome you with serenading songs of birds, enchanting view of the trees, and tranquility of the river. "Now let the good times roll". This is a 3-season private cottage with central heating. Upgrades to the cottage were completed in 2022: new floors, new kitchen, new roof, new appliances, new beds and mattresses, new couches, new gazebo, newly built wooden stairs going down the riverside. 120 feet of private waterfront, we have neighbors on both sides, but vegetation in between provides privacy. No houses across the river, it is purely untouched nature. Most of the summer times, the water by the dock is shallow and toddlers can swim, but there are times that water is high and current is strong so please be advised to observe the water first before swimming or boating. Enjoy the 2 single sit-in kayaks, pedal boat, canoe and a 12 ft-boat. NO SMOKING and NO PETS inside the cottage. Accommodations: There are 3 bedrooms available with bed covers, pillows with pillow cases but NO BLANKETS: 1st room has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, 2nd room has 2 sturdy bunk beds, and the largest room has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed but can fit another queen airbed(available in the cottage) if needed. Each room has a small table with a night lamp and electric fans. The mattresses are covered with sheets and so are the pillows but you may bring your own sheets, pillows together with your blankets for more safety. The living room has two 3-seater sofas and two comfy rocking chairs, it has big windows facing the river. The font lawn and the view of the river can also be seen from the kitchen and dining room. Very high ceiling and lots of natural lights, sun rays get into the living and dining rooms. The living room has a brand new 72" TV, Blu-ray DVD player, and receiver with speakers.
There are 2 full washrooms: one on the main floor and one in the basement.
Basement is to entertain your kids, there's a ping-pong table and a nice wooden foosball table, and a 2nd TV with Blu-ray/DVD player.
Driveway fits 9 full size cars.

The cottage also has available maps: direction to the dumping station (bring the dump permit or take photo), direction to the nearest general store where you can find many supplies including beer and liquor, direction to the town of Havelock. Also, direction to the trail, the dam, and Cordova lake which is walking distance.
If you have a big boat, at the end of the road (5 min drive) is the Cordova lake public boat launch. Parking is free.
We humbly ask that you keep Casa del Rio clean and be gentle with the things inside and outside of the cottage. Treat the cottage as if it is yours so we can all enjoy the place and the serenity of nature around it for years to come.
Accessibility:
The cottage has 3 steps at the front entrance and 3 steps down to the living room. The lot is flat and level at the roadside. There's a 15-step wooden staircase with railings going down the riverside.
No air conditioning.
No washer/dryer yet.
No dishwasher.
There is a cleaning fee of $100 to thoroughly clean the cottage and wash all bed linens & sofa covers.
Renters are required to take all garbage and recycle items upon departure, wash any dirty dishes and sweep if there's dirt or food on the floor.

| Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Casa Del Rio cottage. The owners have set up a very fun place!
We enjoyed playing ping pong and foosball in the cottage basement, taking the kayaks and boats up the river to the lower Cordova Falls to swim, sitting by a campfire in the evening, eating all our meals on the patio, going for a run to the upper Cordova Falls, and more!
The cottage location is very serene and quiet, and was also a great place to relax. I think a few of us ended up napping in the hammocks in the sun :)
Overall, a fantastic weekend vacation!

| Fantastic cottage! Very clean, organize, comfortable. Moreover, owner provides clean life jacket, paddle boat, canon, boat, kayak for water activities. We have spent lots of time outdoors in the cottage, so enjoy able!

| I brought my family for a weekend stay at the cottage and it did not disappoint. The draw to this cottage is the waterfront in front of the cottage where there are large sections of shallow water safe for children to play. My grandkids had their first fishing experience and they were able to catch bluegills and smallmouth bass on their first try just by the dock on shallow water. They wanted to do it again the next morning and had an even better catch. I tried the kayak for the first time and had a great time with the calm waters (life vests were supplied). My son-in-law took the paddle boat with the grandkids while we relaxed on the hammock. There was also a canoe available to use. Everyone enjoyed the activities around the firepit at night roasting marshmallows and making smores. Indoor entertainment is awesome with the 70 inch TV and supplied movies on blue-ray. A ping pong table and a foosball table kept everyone entertained. Hiking trails to scenic rock waterfalls were relaxing. Loved the new kitchen and dining area. Cooking and serving utensils were supplied. Outdoor cooking with the supplied gas bbq and range were provided on a covered gazebo so no sleet or rain can stop us from cooking outdoors. The outdoor dining area was also under a gazebo (there were 2 of them). If you forget anything else, a 5 minute drive to Sam's general store has the solution, including worms for fishing. Would definitely comeback again to build more memories with the family.

| Thank you CasaDelRio, we had a nice relaxing getaway after months of staying at home. The place was beautiful and peaceful with a relaxing view of nature. We enjoyed sipping morning coffee on the dock while kids are playing and catching fish in the river. The cottage was fantastic and clean with plenty of rooms. We enjoyed sleeping in the cottage and the kids loves to setup tent outside and enjoy the bonfire at night. We highly recommend it to our family and friends to experience the amazing view and tourist spot nearby place.

| This cottage is great. With alot of room for a group of people and a well kept clean place we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You can stay indoors and relax; enjoy the view or take a scenic walk. The cottage is even supplied with a canoe, kayaks and a boat for those into fishing or just to enjoy the water.
Would also recommend walking to the nearest rapids where people come to swim in the rivers opening. Hiking around there was beautiful too.
Recommend this place to anyone looking to cottage with family, friends, coworkers, have a small getaway- whatever your fancy. It's one comfortable homie house and I have so many great memories during my stays here.
