Peaceful and serene beauty surround this stylish newly updated cottage.

Relax and enjoy over three acres of privacy, mostly forested and fronting over 200 feet of waterfront on one of Three Mile Lake's picturesque bays.

Enjoy views from the cottage or relax with morning coffee on our 40 foot dock.
While you're enjoying the dock, the kids will love the extra large yard and sandy beach
Fun for families, or couples get-aways!

The space
Our Cottage offers you all the modern comforts of cottaging including a fully screened in Muskoka room.
You have your choice of 2 large decks to enjoy one in front and one out back so you can follow the sun!
There is also a covered deck with lake and forest views for you to enjoy your outside dining rain or shine!

The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and sliding doors to walk out to a private deck overlooking the lake.
There are two other good sized bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The bedrooms have large windows and ceiling fans to keep you cool and comfortable.
In our sunken living room you can snuggle up to a wood burning Napoleon stove and enjoy the panorama view over our beautiful bay.
Of course if it's really chilly, we are fully winterized with a forced air heating system that will keep you nice and toasty.

Fully equipped kitchen includes Dishwasher, Microwave, Blender, Coffee Grinder, Coffee maker, Rice cooker, Slow Cooker, 4 slice toaster, Charcuterie board. We love to cook so you'll be pleased to find all the essentials for preparing delicious meals! You'll find some great organic seasonings, oils, vinegars, high end cookware, Knives and just about anything you might need.

Note: There are no cottages across from us and enough tree cover and acreage on each side so you'll not see the neighbours, giving you maximum privacy. There is a convenience store for wood, ice, etc., about 5 minutes down the road beside highway 11. The town of Burks Falls is 10 min.and has most necessities you may need. Both Huntsville and Sundridge are easy 20 min drives. Easy access to both Snowmobile and ATV trails. We're 15 min north of Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin Park.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage.
We couldn't have asked for a cleaner, well kept property. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The views from each of the decks were beautiful and we enjoyed the screened in Muskoka room every day.
The kids had a blast on their SUP's and also loved the peddle boats provided. Great family time, we'll be back!

If you hope to swim at the cottage you rent, this is not the cottage for you. If you are ok with having very spotty internet, then it could work, but if you need consistent internet, this is not the place for you.
The cottage itself is charming, clean and comfortable. The pictures are accurate. It is very nicely appointed, with comfortable beds, and almost everything you could want or need. The owner is very responsive and helpful and really very nice. However what is missing in the listing is that the lake is only waist high and filled with plants and weeds, with a mucky bottom. You could walk across the entire lake with water no higher than your waist. The plants and weeds and mucky bottom would have been okay had we been able to swim. To support my point, no one in the dozen or so cottages in the bay set foot in the water to swim during our two week stay, except for a few young children at a neighbouring cottage, where there was a sandy beach. It was an enormous disappointment to me and the people I brought up who planned their vacation around being able to enjoy the water. The information about the water and the wifi should have been in the listing. I was willing to spend a bit more per week at this cottage because it looked so perfect. It was a serious error of omission to have us learn about these failings on our arrival.
But if you don't want to swim, it's really a great place! The lot is huge and private, and the water is definitely clear and clean.

It is a little confusing to read you description "The lot is huge and private, and the water is definitely clear and clean."
It is well documented within our listing we are in a shallow part of the lake which is exactly why I stress that no diving or jumping off the dock is advised due to the fluctuating water level. I also include that water shoes might be worn if you do not like soft lake bottoms. The beauty of our bay is we are home to so many nesting birds, loons, herons and other wildlife that visit.

We are one on many very lovely cottages on this end of the lake who have had absolutely no issue swimming, boating or lazy day floating on a raft tied to the dock while enjoying cold drinks in hand :) To read that no one "set foot" in the water during the guests stay is very difficult for me to believe.

As far as our internet, we are equipped with Bell satellite wi-fi and are able to provide unlimited access for our guests. I realize this guest lost use of the internet during a power outage which is something I can not control. Unfortunately this occurred during an intense storm and it can take the technicians several hours to get things running again. Having the guest call Bell herself and hold herself out as the cottage owner only confused and slowed the repair process.

It is somewhat disheartening to read such a negatively scored review, especially when we went above and beyond for this guest and her numerous demands.
