I stayed here with my husband, our three young children and my parents in law. We had a wonderful trip at this cottage, even though the weather didn't turn out. When it was raining it was a lovely space to be inside and when it was nice out we fully enjoyed the clear lake with the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. The house was clean and very well equipped and even had some bottled water, which was nice since the tap water had quite the sulfur smell/taste. The layout was perfect for our children to sleep while we could enjoy the second floor with the kitchen, play board games and watch shows. The solo campfire stove was awesome to enjoy! The hill to park our van was quite the feat but doable. There were lots of sand toys and the sandy, gradual entrance to the lake was idyllic for our kids. The proximity to such a cute small town was perfect for needing a quick thing here and there. Everyone enjoyed their time! It was great that the house was at the end of the road because our little family enjoyed going for small walks down the street. The green&blue herons and turtles were so much fun for the kids to see. The host was amazing. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Owner response:
Thankyou Chloe for this awesome review! We have an update and the water system has been fixed.. no smell at all? ready for next year !

I stayed at this cottage with my family and we had an amazing time! Every year we book a cottage and there always seems to be something missing, but this cottage checked ALL the boxes! We will absolutely be returning. Donna is an amazing host. She made sure we had everything we needed and ensured that the little ones were safe. We can not recommend this cottage enough!

Highly recommend staying at this vacation rental. I'd call it a cottage but it's actually a beautiful waterfront home. We vacationed with two families of 4 and found the property to be very spacious - large kitchen, lots of bedrooms and areas to spread out. Also came with complimentary wine and smores, which doesn't hurt. Lol

The beach was great! It's private with your own sandy area and a little dock with plenty of seating, a fire pit and an umbrella to stay out of the fun. It was honestly fabulous for our little ones - even had a box of sand toys.

Donna the landlord was terrific to communicate with - very responsive and friendly. We actually left a few items behind that she mailed back to us immediately. Which was really appreciated.

Well definitely be returning for another stay. :)
