Siddon Cottage is an all-season cottage is situated on a 2-acre piece of land and just 5 minutes away from the town of Bancroft. Lake Siddon is just a short walk from the cottage and from within the property can be viewed on the cottage deck. There is plenty of yard space to play and run around. We have volleyball and badminton on the yard. Lake Siddon is a non-motorized lake, the water is deep and clear, making it a peaceful and safe lake for swimming, canoeing, pedal boating, and paddle boarding. Please take a look at our wonderful home/cottage. We look forward to welcoming you.
Siddon Cottage has 3 bedrooms and can easily sleep 6-8 people. It has four double beds and one queen-size bed. It has 1.5 bathrooms, one with bathtub. There is a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The home/cottage has general air conditioner during the summer and heater on winter months. The finished lower level has comfy family room that has a medium size pool table, a variety of board games and books. TV with DVD player is also available. Beautiful views of the property can be seen from the large deck. The deck has a gazebo and big dining table that can seat 6-8 people. The propane barbeque grill is just at the corner of the deck. There is also a firepit for your marshmallow and roasting pleasures. Stay connected with WIFI. The area has perfect cell phone reception. We all know the importance of work and social media to everyone's life. Badminton and volleyball with net is on site. Includes 1 pedal boat, kayak, and canoe. There is an available life vest for adults. Please bring for infant and kids.

This was my first cottage rental and the process couldn't have been easier thanks to our hosts. We found the cottage meticulously clean and inviting. We were a group of 8, 3 adults and 5 kids enjoying a week long summer holiday.

What really stood out about this cottage was the attention to detail and the little extras included. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, The all brand new (massive) deck, patio furniture, fire pit and bbq were used every day was really nice

We loved and made a lot of use out of the well manicured open space of the property (over 2 acres), We played field soccer, frisbee and made a lot of use out of the badminton and volleyball equipment which was literally hours of entertainment for the kids.
The lake is clean and quiet also great for kids. We got a lot of use out of the 2 paddle boats, 5 inflatables and kayak, (all in good repair),
The house was well stocked with board games, a pool table and DVDS for quieter indoor evenings.
We toured around Bancroft quite a bit, visiting some local parks, Egan Chutes (waterfall hike), Papineau Beach (amazing), and mountain creek horseback trail riding (highly recommended.) Lots local stuff to do as well as some local cuisine.
The hosts made us feel comfortable, and relaxed and communication was nearly instant. We really felt like there was a lot of thought put into, on-site activities, and little extras that added to the enjoyment both in the cottage and around the property.

From the time we got there till the last day, it was a very enjoyable vacation for myself and my family. The cottage is big, spacious, clean and beautiful. The property is well maintained and so much to do there. My kids had fun swimming and using the boat. Took lots of picture. I can't wait to go back again soon.
