Escape routine in a nature-inspired A-frame nestled on the banks of the Coulonge River. Choose your own adventure; whether it be whitewater rafting, golfing, hiking, or just relaxing by the river or our hot tub with a rosé. The perfect retreat for your next family trip or friends' weekend away. Our cozy 4 season newly built chalet is situated in the beautiful Pontiac Region of Western QC, known for its rich history and beautiful landscapes. Bring family and friends to enjoy your stay with lots to do. Located only 1.5 hours from Ottawa. Our 4-season waterfront chalet is Approximately 1450sq. feet including 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms carefully curated to enhance your vacation experience. It accommodates 6-8 guests comfortably. Our large wrap-around deck and riverfront deck are outfitted with outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and a beautiful view to keep you relaxed. Kick your feet up at our outdoor fire pit and enjoy making memories with friends and family! Guests can enjoy a lazy river float down the river from the golf course, or lounge on the riverside deck! This area boasts world-class white water rafting and kayaking, and has a plethora of activities for each season! We have a 6-person hot tub that guests can enjoy while overlooking the river, or if you prefer to unwind on the river we have a canoe and a kayak for guests to explore. ( We have a small selection of life jackets for children, 1 adult kayak life jacket, and 2 regular adult life jackets) We suggest that guests bring their own
For summer 2026 bookings, (June 29th- August 31st) we will be implementing 7-night minimum stays from Monday- Monday as we already have our cleaner booked each Monday. We rent all year long, as our Chalet is the perfect fall, winter and spring destination!!
Please note our floating dock and access stairs are seasonal. It is installed every May/June and removed every Oct depending on river water levels.
We do not allow parties or events. For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras /recording devices located on the side yard of the Chalet. Rest assured, we do not access these cameras when the Chalet is rented.

| We had a wonderful stay at The Chutes Chalet! Danielle was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. We traveled as a family with an elderly grandmother and a toddler, and the chalet was perfect for everyone. The two bedrooms on the main level made it easily accessible for my grandmother and parents, and everything we needed for the baby (high chair, playpen, plates, and utensils) was thoughtfully provided. We especially enjoyed a canoe trip during the day and relaxing in the hot tub at night. Highly recommend!

| This super cute A-Frame cottage was perfect for our family vacation. The bedrooms were spacious and the loft had a gorgous view of the water. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning kept the cottage cool during the heat wave. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed to make and serve all our meals. Everything was clean and inviting upon our arrival.
This area of the river was quiet and there were very few motor boats; most people were paddle boarding or kayaking. Fishing was quite good off the dock as well.
The deck area above the dock was an extra area of living space; a great place to read a book or enjoy lunch while still having a wonderful view of the river.
The hot tub was a bonus, and we enjoyed relaxing in it after spending a day on the water.
The fire pit was set up in the perfect spot to take in the view and there was plenty of firewood for our stay.
Our host, Danielle, was very responsive with questions about the cottage.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Chutes Chalet!

| What a wonderful time we had at The Chutes Chalet. The chalet was delightful, spotless, spacious and very comfortable. It had everything we needed including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, games, etc., and was perfect for a family get away.
Danielle was a superb host and communication was fast and easy. It was absolutely a great stay and we are looking forward to going back.
