THE COTTAGE ON THE POINT If a private cottage getaway is what you are looking for then you have found it! This cottage is known for it's private dock days and desirable sunrise AND sunset views! The cottage on the point is a wonderful getaway for your family and friends. Swimming, fishing, boating, campfires, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and lots of memory making! There is sun all day on the dock for those that enjoy long days relaxing in the sun and the cottage is surrounded by trees offering a place to seek some shade. Retreat to the firepit by the water in the evening for a quiet campfire. The sunroom is the perfect place to curl up with a coffee and a book in the mornings to watch the sun shining in. The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, spacious open concept kitchen living and dining, sunroom, deck overlooking the lake, private dock area with no neighbouring docks beside you. | This cottage provided a wonderful getaway for my large family. Everyone had their privacy when they wanted it so they could relax and recharge, and it also had amazing gathering spaces both inside and out to make many happy memories. Nestled at the end of a quiet road on a quiet lake, it was a perfect retreat from the everyday. The views from the dock, including the sunsets, were spectacular. When the weather was great we enjoyed morning coffees on the lake, kayaking with the kids, swimming, enjoying the nature around us and campfires with tasty treats. It's close enough to town to enjoy amenities when the weather was less than ideal or when we needed a quick getaway or meal out. The boat launch on the lake was easily accessible for your water toys and the lake was never overly noisy or busy. Neighbours at nearby cottages waved friendly hellos and it was one of the best tranquil cottage rentals we have had. The cottage was, clean, organized and fully stocked with everything we needed from the kitchen all the way down to puzzles for those rainy days. If you're looking for a relaxing place to recharge with everything you need, you won't be disappointed!

| My family has stayed at the Cottage on the Point twice and we would definitely stay again! The cottage is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for your visit. The large living room and sun room offer a lot of common space, great for rainy days. The dock really is ?on the point? so it's private and has amazing views of the lake and all-day sunshine. The cottage's location makes it easy to explore the area. Bala and Port Carling are fun day trip destinations. Overall, an absolutely wonderful spot for a family vacation.
