Quaint, self-contained cottage, the best location in Kaslo! Right across the street from beautiful Kootenay Lake and one block from the Village of Kaslo. Clean and cozy! A nice space for two adults (maximum 2 occupants) with one master bedroom, a queen size bed, full kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer. The cottage is completely stocked with dishes and linen. Enjoy a view of the lake and mountains from the large covered veranda with a BBQ and picnic table. Come and enjoy Kaslo's Big Mountains, Small Village. Sorry, we are unable to accept pets. A 20% nonrefundable deposit is required at time of booking, with the balance due upon arrival. Payment is by cash or e-transfer. NOTES ***The cottage is available from June til September for nightly or weekly stays. Longer term stays are sometimes available for fall and winter at $1500 per month plus power. No taxes are charged on any stays of one month or more. Long term stays require the first months rent as a non refundable deposit to hold, as well as a $750 damage deposit. Power bill is in your name for longer term stays. | We came upon Kaslo Cottage by accident last year and were only able to stay three nights. We immediately knew then we needed to return this year and for much longer. The minute we stepped back into the cottage it as if we had never left. So bright, spacious, and comfortable with a lot of personal touches. The huge veranda sporting a picnic table, a barbecue, 2 Adirondack chairs, not to mention flowers everywhere provided a lovely additional living space.
The big plus: the location just across the street from the Lake and its heart wrenching beautiful views absolutely unbeatable.
Sandy and Mike were the best hosts, so kind and welcoming. We felt very spoiled. Thank you for everything.

| Can only reiterate all what other reviewers have said..excellent facilities,location,cleanliness and very friendly owners in Sandra and Mike.We arrived late on cold,windy and miserable afternoon and it was like coming home.We were impressed then and remain so,truly memorable stay,THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED.

| This is the second time in the past year that I have stayed at the cottage. The cottage is very well maintained, well equipped and very clean. Sandy & Mike are great hosts. I would highly recommend this facility.
