| Our family and friends had a great stay at Sparrow Lake Cottage. Two families with two kids each, 8 guests in total. Adults got their own room, kids all slept in the same room. Great space, never felt crowded. All bedrooms were clean, including mattresses and linen, bathrooms were spotless too.
Orysia and her husband were quick at tending for our needs, whether it was propane for the barbecue, or freshly baked brownies or smore-making supplies. They're definitely on top of things.
Kids were endlessly entertained: badminton games, canoe and kayak trips, mesmerizing fires.
We like cooking and found the kitchen clean and very well stocked - all appliances in perfect condition.
Overall a fantastic little retreat, not far from Toronto and a short trip from Quayle's Brewery (great beer).

| What a beautiful stay at the Sparrow Lake Cottage! We stayed for an extended weekend end of September and couldn't have asked for a better visit! The cottage was well kept and very clean, fully stocked with everything you could need. All the bedrooms were comfortable with new linen and clean mattresses.
Our two young kids had plenty to do, fishing off the dock, going for a paddle on the Kayak, catching frogs on the sandy shore and making s'mores on the fire. Coffee on the front porch to soak in the sunrise was just as lovely as the wine by the dock watching the incredible sunset!
Orysia was so inviting and kind to us. She's very responsive and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

| My family had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage. It exceeded all our expectations with its comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and fantastic outdoor space. The entire place was very clean and beautifully updated, a detail that truly stood out to me. The bedrooms were equipped with comfy mattresses and pillows and topped with soft sheets and duvets. The outdoor space had plenty to do; including a paddle boat, canoe and two kayaks. The entrance to the water was shallow and sandy, perfect for younger kids. With a family of five, including three energetic kids, we found plenty of room to relax and unwind. While we didn't get a chance to swim due to the cooler weather, we made the most of our time fishing in the abundant waters of Sparrow lake. The kids had a blast reeling in fish, and my daughter even caught an impressive pike off the dock! Orysia was an exceptional host, always quick to respond to any inquiries or needs. Our experience at her cottage was truly memorable and we are looking forward to returning next summer!

| Our stay at Sparrow Lake was truly wonderful. With two young children, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cottage was perfect for our family. Our kids especially loved the little sandpit, where they could play and splash in the lake on warm days. The flat grassy area was ideal for them to run around freely and enjoy the outdoors.
The sunsets from the dock were breathtaking, and we had so much fun paddling around the lake. Evenings spent making s'mores by the fire were a highlight for all of us. Inside the cottage, everything was just as impressive. My daughter was thrilled to sleep in her "big girl" bunk bed, and the king bed was incredibly comfortable.
The cottage was stocked with everything we needed?and more. From extra pillows to a hand blender and even a meat thermometer, the attention to detail was remarkable. The thought and care that went into equipping this cottage didn't go unnoticed, and we're so grateful. We can't wait to come back!
