There is no cottage like this anywhere in Canada. The Pentagon Courtyard Escape is a brand new, pentagon-shaped luxury home in Tobermory, Ontario. An architectural marvel with 12 distinct roof slopes, 17-foot ceilings, and a stunning private courtyard at the heart of the home. Designed for families and large groups, it sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with every detail thoughtfully built for an exceptional stay. THE SPACE Four bedrooms accommodate up to 12 guests: two master bedrooms each with a queen bed and private ensuite, plus two additional bedrooms each with a queen on the main floor and a double bed in the private loft above. There are 4 bathrooms in total (2 ensuites, 1 full 4-piece bath, and a powder room). The open-concept main living area features a 75" smart TV with premium sound system, a 60" electric fireplace, and smart home wiring for voice-controlled lighting and music. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a Miele coffee machine, and a live-edge dining table that seats 10+. THE COURTYARD & OUTDOOR SPACES At the centre of the home is a private sky-lit courtyard. Lush with local plants and a red maple tree. Step outside to the hot tub (seats 6), relax in the egg chair, or dine on the patio. At night, Tobermory's legendary dark skies open up above you, perfect for stargazing, and on lucky nights, the Northern Lights. The backyard features a 40x10 ft pergola with string lights, a wood-fired pizza oven, and a full BBQ with outdoor dining, ideal for large group gatherings. The custom firepit easily fits the whole group.
A 35-foot private dock sits right on the water with kayaks provided for guest use. A separate lookout deck offers serene harbour views with direct access to Lake Huron. Carved nature paths wind through the landscaped property, making it feel like a private park.

| We just returned from an incredible stay at this cottage, and honestly, it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We were a group of 9, and the space was perfect for us. The cottage itself is like an oasis immaculately designed, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity you can think of.
The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed (and then some), and we loved being able to BBQ and use the outdoor pizza oven in the patio deck. All utensils we could think of were available. The layout of the cottage is very interesting, a pentagon shape, with a courtyard in the middle with the hot tub and ample seating.
One of the highlights of the trip was catching a glimpse of the northern lights right from the property absolutely magical and something we'll never forget.
We've rented quite a few cottages over the years, and this one stands out as truly special. You can tell the owners have put a lot of love and care into the place. We'd 100% recommend it and would love to come back again. The pictures here, while detailed, don't do the property justice.

| We stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights and had a truly lovely time. It is chic, modern, and was perfect for our family of 14 with parents/grandparents to spend quality time with each other and the kids. There was a good variety of things to do in the area from singing sands beach to star gazing and more. The hosts were also very responsive and gracious. The bedrooms are large and modern and the kids had ample space for exploration. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation !

| My family and I had an amazing experience at the cottage. Very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Top of the line hot tub in the courtyard. We enjoyed kayaking. We made good use of the excellent BBQ range in the backyard. A wonderful set up to keep kids entertained in the garage. Definitely planning to take the kids there again. Abundant activities like games to keep us occupied if the weather outside is unbearable. Awesome place to spend quality time with family and make some wonderful memories. Highly recommended!
