| We had a wonderful stay at The Bee's Nest! The cottage is at the very end of the road, making it incredibly private and peaceful. The lake is a great size, and while there's no gradual walk-in entry to the water, the deep, clean, weed-free water off the end of the dock was perfect for swimming and jumping in. We had so much fun using the kayaks, paddleboard, and floating water pad, and despite the cooler weather we got out on the water every day. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of condiments. One thing to note is that the water trampoline had a leak during our stay, and lawn maintenance happened around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
I just wanted to mention a few helpful things for future guests. The road into the cottage is quite narrow, steep, and winding in places, with loose gravel, potholes, and some washed-out sections, so taking it slowly is a good idea. The bedrooms also don't have blinds, so if you have little ones or prefer a dark room, bringing portable blackout blinds is worthwhile. We also found there weren't extra rolls of toilet paper or paper towel, and there were no ice cube trays, so packing those items ahead of time would be helpful.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily return.

| The Bee's Nest was incredible to be at! A very clean, homely , and beautiful cottage overlooking elbow lake! Lisa was such a great host, who was more than accommodating. Her cottage had all necessities and more! Spices and utensils to cook with, a surplus of all paper towel/garbage bags so we do not need to stress, a fully equipped television for movies late night and outdoor amenities such as kayaks, life jackets, firewood and a beautiful firepit. I would come back over and over! Its so peaceful as it is right on elbow lake with a big enough dock that the whole group could enjoy in peace. This was amazing inside and out! Thank you Lisa.

| If you are looking for a place that matches the listing, look no further. Everything about this cottage is absolutely stunning. Clean, spacious and all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. Having coffee on the deck before paddleboarding on the quiet lake in the mornings was so peaceful and relaxing. The dock was great for swimming and lounging. Fishing off of it was fantastic. Almost every cast had a fish with 5+ lbs smallmouths providing nice excitement. Communication with Lisa quick and helpful to any questions you may have. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

| We couldn't have asked for a better stay! The cottage is located on the end of the short gravel road with only a few neigbours within sight and you have a beutiful lake view from every window and door. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has obviously been recently updated with nothing left to want. We were there during an extremely hot spell but the air conditioner did its job and kept the entire place cool. WiFi was great as well as TV service if you need it. The dock area was well used, as we spent many hours fishing,swimming and enjoying the lake views. Fishing was great off the dock and wherever else we paddled. Communication was quick and response was swift to a very minor issue that came up. Dont hesitate to book...you will not be disappointed.

| The cottage was delightful - everything was new, clean and well stocked. We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving weekend there and even cooked a turkey on the terrific BBQ. It was a peaceful setting, and the owner was very responsive. We highly recommend it and would stay again.
