There is a shallow, sandy entrance to the water at the front of the cottage and large dock for sitting or jumping in. At night, enjoy a fire by the water, surrounded by patio lights by the water or leave them off and enjoy the open skies.
Healey Lake is a large lake, about 11 kms long. It has numerous islands, secluded bays, and inlets to explore by kayak, canoe or paddleboard (provided). Boat rentals and water taxi are also available at the nearby marinas on the lake. For those who enjoy fishing, cast a line from the dock, fish from the shore, or go out on the lake. There are Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie, and Largemouth Bass. If you're feeling adventurous, nearby Crown land offers hiking and ATV trails. There are golf courses nearby and pickleball/tennis courts within walking distance.
