This is not your average cottage. This is a place with all the comforts of a new modern home, but in a setting and constructed in a way that you can feel that you are on vacation. You can listen to the silence on the deck 15 meters from the beach. If you want to have privacy and feel the closeness to the ocean, watch the whales and seals, Bald Eagles and other natural wonders. Go for a walk on the beach which stretches for miles and watch the sunset.
The house is open concept. Constructed with old barn beam structure and wide wood floor planks. With everything you need to feel comfortable in winter or summer. Well insulated, high efficiency windows, and in-floor heating in the washroom slate floor.
You can listen to the sounds of the ocean, and swim and snorkel on your private beach. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets and star filled skies, and you are only twenty five minutes from a full service town, wonderful restaurants, shopping, theater, golf, and hiking.
Nova Scotia has a great deal to offer and here on the Northumberland Strait; you will enjoy the warmest waters north of the Carolinas! Fresh lobster is around and if you arrive in local lobster season you can enjoy the morning's catch after watching the boats catching them. Lobster never tasted so good.
Antigonish is known as the Highland heart of Nova Scotia.

Full kitchen (everything), full bath, washer and dryer, optional outdoor shower, electric heat, deck, BBQ, fibre op high speed internet, TV, DVD player, king size bed in a loft overlooking the ocean. Alternative sleeping arrangement is easily made on two comfortable queen size sofa beds. Linens and towels. Very private (one neighbor 250 feet away and the next is half a mile away). Ocean front (15 meters to sandy-rocky beach, good for swimming and snorkeling, but it is recommended to have flip-flops or other water shoes).
