| Beautiful Cottage! We had a great weekend at the cottage with the family. Beautiful renovations and had everything we needed. Though the lake was frozen it was still a picturesque view of the lake, I could imagine how nice it would be in the summer. Detailed instructions are given on what to bring, where things are and what to do. Everything you need to cook and prepare food; there is even a garlic press. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable family day weekend.

| My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary up here and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The checkin was easy and seamless, the instructions are very clear and concise, Derek was such a pleasure to deal with & the deposit was sent back swiftly. The place itself is absolutely stunning, it's fully equipped, extremely clean & you can't beat that hot tub. You can tell the love and detail that was put into this place! We can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the other amenities!
Thanks so much for your hospitality Derek & Lisa!

| What a wonderful Fall vacation at this great cottage at Big Clear Lake! Beautiful fall colors were spectacular and did not disappoint all around the lake and taking it all in while lounging on the deck or covered gazebo or having a nice walk along the quiet road was so amazing. It was a relaxing week with great weather and Derek/Lisa were great hosts. Photos shown are accurate with the amazing kitchen, country decor, super comfy reclining couch/chairs and most importantly the wonderful lake view with amazing sunsets! Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

| We enjoyed a great couple getaway. This cottage is the best on the lake. The flat wide lot makes parking, cottage and water access easy. The photos and descriptions accurately highlight this cottage. The cottage's main floor has been recently renovated with the kitchen (top notch appliances, large island), dining and sitting areas (great recliner chairs/sofa) being open concept, allowing for unrestricted views of the lake. There is one bedroom (queen) on the main floor, The other two bedrooms (queen/double bunks) are on the upper floor. The great deck is long with three areas of comfort. The gazabo adds another area of comfort. We did not use the hot tub, but another bonus. Sharbot Lake village is 20 minutes away. We had a great lunch at Cardinal Café and then replenished our supplies at the local grocery. LCBO/Beer store too. We enjoyed using the canoe/pedal boat to explore the lake. Walking trails nearby. Derek was great in answering all email questions. We highly recommend this cottage for 2 - 6 people. Thanks again to the McLenaghan family for sharing their cottage with us.

| Nothing but love for this rental. This rental is a Gem tucked away down scenic dirt roads. Beautiful lush, full greenery all the way up to the front door. With a forest in the front and the big clear lake (which it's name does not disappoint) in the back; you are spoiled before you even enter the cottage. The long patio/porch the looks out on the water- accommodates every mood. (Rocking chairs, lounge chairs and even Adirondacks behind a screened gazebo. Every detail from the reclining chairs/couch to the long farmhouse table. All the little wooden touches and decor make this cottage feel more like a home. The living room quickly settles you in, while the dinning table/kitchen air invites you in as the 'hub' of your vacation. All bedrooms are a perfect fit, no matter the number of occupants. The two bathrooms are so convenient and the triple bunk bed/combo was beyond functional; especially for families. The water is so calm and thus, beautiful but also welcoming to enjoy. Pedal boat was a hit and the canoes as the little islands draw your imagination in. The hot tub is another highlight. It is nestled in the nook of the cottage to give you both privacy and the view. Walking along the roads, the neighbours, and the small town charm were other bonuses that made our time away- memorable. Highly recommend this cottage.
