| We had such a wonderful family day weekend. We came with our three adult children (from different cities) and our adored dog which was a huge bonus, as we would not leave her behind. The home/cottage is so beautiful, with four full bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, two living areas, a hot tub, and magnificent view. Pamela was very helpful, and sent lots of wonderful information before and during our stay. I would without any reservation recommend this cottage on Shea Lake. We skied at Mt St. Marie and it was lovely, and had a walk around the area. There were even snow shoes available if snow was too deep. Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise- 5 star!!!! :)

Owner response: We are so very pleased how much your family enjoyed Cottage on Shea Lake! We want all of our guests to enjoy everything the property and surrounding area has to offer. Brings us joy when families come together, with their pups, to spend time together at our nature filled water front property. We hope to see you again Karen! Maybe in the fall when the leaves are exploding in colour.

| This beautiful cottage had everything needed for a fun and enjoyable time. We had a multigenerational family winter vacation. The host Pamela and Andrew were amazing. We arrived to a warm cottage and were greeted with a bottle of wine and apple pie. The beautiful cottage was also pet friendly and our dog so enjoyed running around the property and ice surface with us. The cottage had a full stocked kitchen And everything was in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable. Loved that added throw blankets to curl up with on the couch and the designated ones for outside. We all enjoyed the covered hot tub with easy access to the building, the firepit area was waiting for us with all firewood and supplies provided. We enjoyed a nice family lunch outdoors by the fire. In addition we cleared the ices and made a skating path that was a great hit for all and we made a small sliding hill for the grandchildren. The view from the windows and deck are enjoyable and relaxing to watch the sun sets. We have stayed in other rentals for our family winter getaway and this place by far has been the best. So do not hesitate and book this place for your next vacation.

| Members of my extended family had the joy of staying in this wonderful cottage for a week after Christmas. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were made with care and several extra blankets and throws were available for all our cuddling and warming needs. The bathrooms were spacious and had plenty of hooks to help us keep towels and personal things organized. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with cooking necessities and staple ingredients.
The two teenage boys were glad to have their own hang out space in the lower level and spent a lot of time ?chillin'?in the hot tub. The only thing that would have made that better is if they had dropped their phones in the water (said like only a mom of modern teens can say).
The setting was gorgeous, quiet, and perfect for a family getaway. We were blessed with the opportunity to skate on the lake by the end of our week which made for memories to be cherished for a lifetime. We also enjoyed indoor ice skating and downhill skiing, all within an easy drive.
The owner's welcome and hospitality was especially appreciated?they even invited us to a massive bonfire and fireworks display on New Year's Eve.
We definitely hope to return!

Owner response: So pleased that you and your family, Karen, enjoyed your stay at Cottage on Shea Lake. Despite being less snow than usual for this time of year you all made the most of your time at Shea Lake and the area. We like to make our guestsè stay at Cottage on Shea Lake as comfortable as possible so thank you for the shout out about the extra blankets, the hooks and extra hanging out space for the teenagers. And it was pretty fun that you could skate on the lake on New Years Day -- a unique Canadian experience. And so pleased you could join us for the New Years festivities. We look forward to your next visit to Shea Lake.

| I had the pleasure of staying at Cottage on Shea Lake in November for a girls' weekend, and would do it again in a heartbeat. The setting along the lake is beautiful and serene, with gorgeous views from the cottage, and along the local roads and trails. The cottage itself is spacious, and beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and all the amenities, for cooking, entertaining, and good times. We really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, surrounded by a dusting of newly-fallen snow, and cosying up around an outdoor fire, under the canopy of stars, with a glass of wine or two. Highly recommend, and I would definitely visit again!

| Our recent cottage stay was the perfect end-of-summer family escape. We relished our access to the peddle boat and stand-up paddleboards and the sheer luxury of the hot tub with a bottle of wine. One evening, under a starlit sky, we gathered around the fire pit, singing old tunes, and watched an approaching lightning storm. It was magic. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and brimming with thoughtful touches. Our family plans to return with our dog to experience the winter version with x-country skiing, fires and hot tubs. Thank you again.
